No weight off the SFC, however the swivel wheels do provide more maneuverability.

What are you gonna do when the battery starts dying? You got to ask some of your customers if you can borrow some of there electric to charge your mowers. Maybe just charge them off your truck so it drains your truck battery and then you can ask your customers for a jump.

Don’t waste your time or money buying the new walk behind 30” mowers. Trust me I love anything Scag besides these pieces of shit garbage mowers. I have 3 & none sadly could make it past 30-50 hours without falling apart. Mainly the clutches. One mower I have only has 90 hours & has had 3 clutches replaced already. If that’s not enough the cheap tires they put on look aggressive & cool but I promise all 3 mowers have already had all rear tires separate in half lol. If that’s not enough the cables never stay adjusted to where they “should be”. Normally sure you have to make adjustments every 50-100 hours or more. On these if you don’t make sure you adjust the transmission cable or blade engage cables at the end of each day you will be sorry. They work themselves loose immediately. I’d suggest a simple fix of lock tight but it’s just minor things left & right with these mowers. If you ever lift the mower for any reason the pin to adjust the height will come out & be in the top hole but not sitting in the bottom properly because Scag is too stupid to make the pin 1/2” longer. I mean I can seriously go on & on but I’m not. Last ring I’m going to mention is how heavy these mowers are. The first model comes with fixed wheels & if that’s the case good luck lugging this heavy mower around all day each time you have to lift it up to make a turn. Scag should have waited to release these mowers for sure with how many problems they have right off the bat. I was so excited when these first came out I bought 3. Now I wouldn’t buy these mowers if they were $1200 much less $2300. I could have literally used this mower for a week & told Scag a list of simple to major problems that needed to be addressed before releasing. Again I was excited as I’m a “Scag fan boy” but not 1 bit impressed with the 30” walk behinds. Maybe in how cool they look but that’s not what I’m looking for in a mower. I want to be able to put my mowers through the ringer for atleast 1 year before having to replace expected parts like belts, cables, etc… I couldn’t even go 2 weeks without these things just being $2300 pieces of shit all broken down taking turns going back to the shop or me fixing myself so they don’t have to be in a shop for weeks waiting on back ordered parts. But if you still don’t believe me at this point I can’t help you & you will have to learn the hard way like I did after spending $7000 for 3 of them. I’m hoping Scag will see this & make things right for me. I really like their mowers as I have many other walk beginds, v-rides etc.. but I’m definitely majorly disappointed in these & wish I’d never bought them because now I have 3 of the most unreliable mowers I’ve ever owned in my 15 years plus of mowing commercially. Hope I saved someone from making the terrible mistake I did. All I see are videos of how great these are the first day the person has bought it but what about after the first week when it falls apart on you literally?
