Hands down the absolute best mower. Please never quit making the tiger cat. A literal meaning to a well oiled machine. Love mine. As long as craftsmanship continues to be their priority, buying Scag only will be mine. Jesus first then Scag. That’s the order of reliability. Haha!

Some may consider it overkill, but I bought one these for home use today. After being delivered, we were shown it’s finer points and capabilities. This thing is built like a tank, and even though I’ve never used a zero turn mower before, I became fairly proficient with it after just a short while. I’m thoroughly impressed with its build quality and performance. Hamilton Supply in Abilene was very knowledgable and provided excellent service. SCAG did good by choosing them as a dealer, they represented your product well.

This is a review after a two full seasons of mowing. I bought a new Tiger Cat II with a 52” deck to mow the lawn around the the barn and the lawn around the house. This mower replaced a sub-compact diesel tractor with a 60” belly mower. The tractor struggled with the heavy spring growth through approximately June 15th. The heavy clippings were all over the lawn. The cut looked good only when the yard was really dry in August. With the tractor the mowing took at least 3.5 hours and seemed tedious. I started the year mowing with the Tiger Cat II and was pleasantly surprised. It never struggled with the spring grass and there were very few clippings. The cut looked great all year. Mowing time was reduced to 1.75 hours - half the time compared with the tractor. Mowing is highly efficient and best of all it is fun. The second year was as good as the first year. 🐅 🐈 2 (Tiger Cat II)

I just got one with the Kawasaki 26 EFI. Homeowner, but I don't like working with junk and the ZERO percent financing and promotional pricing made it a no brainier. Last mower I will ever buy. My last commercial mower was a Walker and it is still running at 1800 hours before the deck wore out. This Scag is twice the mower.

Our brand new tiger cat is leaking oil all over the mower from the oil reservoir and cap. Threads were all screwed up from the factory. We also got two miss matched arms on the hydro levers. Trust me I tried to adjust it. 25 years in the industry poorly presented for 10$k

My father wants a patriot I want the tiger cat 2. We can only get one though. We have lots of uneven ground and live basically in a farm. We have thick grass and it isn’t even grass it’s like all weeds😂. Should we get the patriot or tiger cat 2?

Both machines will serve you well but if you have a rougher terrain the higher grade of suspension on the Tiger Cat would be where we'd steer you.
