This is the most badass Green Lantern I've ever seen! I never knew that there was a GL who had the balls to use a green light construct mini gun. Very impressive John Stewart, very impressive indeed.

That's one of the main images from the GL movie when Reynolds made one. They then had Hal do it a bunch of times in the comics.

Every GL should always have a clenched fist on the ring hand regardless of which GL it is. Still overall this is a great looking figure. That head and face sculpt is incredible!

The fact is he tries to keep these at a $20 price point by not adding much which makes little sense since marvel legends still include fist hands a lot of the times and still are a $20 price point even if they add now an extra $5 to their figures. Their Shang Chi figure came with a lot of hands and still was a $20 price point so there's no excuse from Todd

@@davidmarrero9608 it makes perfect sense. All of these figures are unique sculpts with fantastic paint jobs. Legends are all recylcled parts with shit paint. They make up for it with things like accessories and hands. These are more comparable to black series than marvel legends. Black series is all unique sculpts with amazing paint, and minimal accessories. This and black series are the best 20$ figure lines.

This is an absolute pick up, I agree with the missing parts but I for one DO NOT have a problem with McFarlane reuse when we are getting new sculpts with every character. Hopefully he re-releases this one with fists and a new face.

That is the drawback from mcfarlanes dc multiverse figures is less accessories or none. Jus hope he can improve on that. We need other characters still too. I know batman maybe his more focus but there are so much awesome characters in dc to cover. I'm not saying Todd's multiverse is shitty cause his figures are awesome. I got the batman who laughs, batgirl, the drowned, grim knight, and Flashpoint batman and those figs are what I've been waiting for but still waiting for others like supergirl, catwoman, poison ivy, and more. This fig is awesome tho and love the accessories.

I would have preferred they stick with a strictly comic accurate look for John Stewart rather than adding all the excess detail. But by no means does the extra detail ruin the figure. The head sculpt is great, and so are the accessories (I'm giving that gatling gun to my favorite Hal Jordan figure). I agree that he should have come with a fisted ring hand and they also should have included a power battery. I can't wait for the GL Hal Jordan/Dawnbreaker 2-Pk.!

I love the Justice League cartoon, but it always bugged me how GL mostly used his ring to ... shoot green lasers. In the comics Hal used to make creative and visually interesting constructs, like robotic horses to ride, or Dr Seuss-esque contraptions. The idea of John having a more grounded personality is fine, but I would have loved if he used his rings to make more military equipment like this Minigun. Tanks, missile launchers, aircraft, armour...

It's actually a Minigun, or Rotary Cannon, a scaled down version of the M61 Vulcan Cannon.(although GL is obviously using a fictionalised variant.) The Gatling Gun was a hand-cranked weapon from the 19th century.

The skintone is a bit too orange.. a slighty more muted tone would've been better. A little less saturated and a few degrees towards the blue end of the spectrum. Toymakers often struggle to get African-American skin quite right. (I know there is a lot of variety in skin colours, but you don't see many orange people.)
