Nanny systems. They wonder why there's a chip shortage... That system is a great example of wasted chips. What truck owner doesn't know his tire pressures? The dash system showing the pressures is ENOUGH. Stop there, save a chip. I've met quite a few people that overinflate truck or van rear tires when they know there's heavy weight. That's hardly a safety issue, and not at 5 psi. 20 psi over? Ok now u can chime or flash the dash.. but beeping and flashing all raggedy in the parking lot... Nanny crap. I'm tired of the damn tpms on my 05 Prius! That truck is 17 years newer and that system has only become more annoying. Surely there's an off button somewhere.
