That hybrid powertrain efficiency is easily the biggest selling point against X70, I still see many owners complaining X70 kuat makan minyak probably because the car is very heavy lol. The interior and exterior also looks sleeker to my eyes, quality still need to be inspected closely. Definitely viable alternative to our local midsize SUV segment especially X70.

This is latest Haval design. X70 already here for many years. For sure x70 looks outdated. On hybrid, that would be worrying especially for Haval brand. You may find it hard to find parts for it. Till they can find a proper distributor just like what Kia did. It will not works for Haval in malaysia

I'm a forster 2020 owner and I was surprised by the quality of H6 after a test drive. The NVH is smashing the forester. IMO it even feels like a German car when you drive (i.e. quiet, stable).

@@alwiensat It takes time like the KIA. When I bought it new in 2005( Sportage), I heard a lot of negative advises. Today I am still using it and I have no complain. maybe because I can't afford another new one? I heard the non hybrid model of the H6 was selling quite well in Australia and waiting was quite long. That was last year.

I have had Nissan Maxima, Toyota Prado, BMW 1, Toyota Highlander GXL, and ordered another Highlander ZR Hybrid in Feb to replace the petrol one, but after I had a test drive of Haval H6 HEV, I cancelled the Toyota order, simply because I saved almost 20k with even more safety features, Haval is an L2+ car, you will be impressed if you take a test drive. I talked to a car dealer regarding the service issue and he said "you can do the service at any qualified service station, as long as you keep the Record Book". Someone said: "Haval sounds like Have All", including "issues"? ^_* I am waiting for the Sept delivery.

Another misleading title since this is not a review at all. This should be a preview of H6 instead of review, let alone comparing the wind noise of H6 and X70 when both of tested at different places.

Wisdom dodge system- Well if you are driving in middle lane, both 1st & 3rd lane have heavy vehicles, what it should do? It mislead your driving. Just out of your control. Also it can be danger to motorbike rider who wants to lane splitting. And Haval should increase their service Center 1st. Finally, We can’t compare this to Mazda. Mazda is most comfortable vehicle than other Japanese and German vehicles, at my point of view.

i still maintained my comment previously no matter how good or how cheap is the car but no service center is useless as need to cross few hundred kilometer just to service then vetter dont bring it over as Malaysia are big and cannot design car just to suite big city like KL, JB or Selangor, need to consider other state which people can affort to buy but due to no authorize service center people will not buy and at the end dealer closed shop. we have seen this many time already

If H6 is priced within the same range as that of the X70, then, there's gonna be trouble for the latter, H6 looks impressive and judging from the reviews, it may just be another head turner...I'm for one will be looking forward to it

X70 will still win mainly due to Haval after sales service. Talking about price, specs and design, they are pretty much the same. I would give design to Haval as that is their latest design while x70 design already for many years.

Nice car but under some lousy importer, under Naza company. So, in general, it was ended up lousy. Better save money and buy other car instead. Even though there is no perfect car ever made but at least the service centres must be able to solve problems when needed. Unlike the rubbish Haval Malaysia
