Tested this car weeks ago, not bad at all... However, h6 hev more encouraging sales resulting from Thailand, Australia n South Africa Market.... In China gwm h6 hev unable to compete with byd... Chinese Car makers such as byd, geely, Chery etc have own differences in hybrid system, worrying that the maintenance cost of hybrid system and after sales services cozt become high in future and gwm isn't doing good in others region so far.....needed gwm to emphasise on 4s center and more car models to be launched...by continuous gwm sales dropping in china and competition in overseas, hoping that gwm can grow in msia market....

Just a matter of time. GWM Malaysia is quite aggressive yet cautious in appointment of dealers and opening centres.

Indeed my concerns are also regarding future service and repairs, parts, and the quality of customer service too. Still an unknown for now. Have to wait it out and see.

tested the car at Puchong. not bad. however the servicing cost is on the high side. hope they can reduce it to be on par with Chery or Proton or better, Corolla Cross Hybrid

@jejakamisteri3442 actually, the servicing costs of Tiggo Pro 7 is much higher than Tiggo Pro 8, which i find quite weird.

Which is better: the Jaecoo J7 or the Haval H6? I’ve already test-driven both, but since I was only in the city, I couldn’t really open them up. To me, the Haval seems better suited for city driving than the J7. What’s most important to me is adaptive cruise control and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). I can’t decide which one to choose. Which is better on the highway, and which has better NVH?

The adaptive cruise control on the H6 is one of the best in the business. The H6 also performs better in traffic when it comes to efficiency since it's a hybrid. But to all your other questions, Ill try to curate a comparison video.

@PistonMalaysia, but the H6 infotainment screen layout is different from other regions. The ventilated seat is included in the air conditioning control and is easy to access, right next to the drive mode screen. I hope they will update this feature and even add a memory function so that when we turn off the car, the settings for ADAS are not reset.

I'm surprised you praised the back seats a lot. For me, it was THE deal breaker as it was very upright. In fact, among all the C-segment SUVs, the Haval H6 has the most upright rear seats which severely compromises the comfort. So in the end, i had to revert my choice back to the Proton X70.

For me, the rear seats of the H6 are just nice. I find the recline of the X70 to be too much. Of course there are others that are too upright, but the H6 is just nice.

Haval has been around for more than a decade in Malaysia and while Haval H6 is the best selling SUV in China since 2017, the brand didnt make as strong an impact like the BYD and Chery. Haval distributor in malaysia really needs to up ts ante in marketing department, the sales team, dealer network and after sales support.

Actually, the Haval from 10 years ago and the Haval today is very different. Now GWM is in Malaysia officially and without a third party distributor. Give them about a year more and they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Hi bro, pemanduan kereta ni agak bagus jugak. Cuma steering feel dia tak begitu elok disebabkan ada free play kat tengah yang kami tak begitu suka. Tetapi ada cara untuk membaiki free play tu dan itu adalah dengan memandu menggunakan Sport mode. Selain daripada itu, comfort dan refinement kereta ni agak bagus, malah mungkin antara yang paling bagus dalam segmen ni.

Best jugak drive kereta ni. Tak macam tiggo 7 brek kurang memuaskan, rasa macam brek dia tak grip. Dh test drive gak tiggo 7, jaecoo j7 (dh booking ,tp cancel sebab tak sama mcm showroom car), h6(dh booking). So far drive dlm bandar h6 best. Pickup kuat utk body yg besar mcm crv. Tp tak pasti nk j7 ke h6. Sbb tak dapat bndingkn NVH mne best. Tp dri segi handling kt bandar, h6 best. Premium j7 lg rasa, sebab banyk feature yg latest. Macam armrest yg ade cooling. Wireless android auto dan carplay, usb type c, ventilated seat ade kt bwah seat dan blkang driver dan passanger depan. Tp sbb h6 rase lg luas dan bonet yg besar. Tp tula tak tahu nk pilih yg mne. Tggu video comparison

It's either ayers silver or crayon grey as per Malaysia brochure. However I saw in an Aus video the reviewer calls this ayers grey. SMH dunno which is which now. But it is a nice colour I like it.
