for part c when you are subbing in for n=2, do you have to look at your argand diagram/unit circle then change it and do satc for the sign or can you always just put it in the calculator

You can use your calculator but just 2 points: 1. These are special angles (page 13 of the tables). Make sure you give your answer in surd form. Your calculator may give a decimal which may not be accurate if the answer includes root 2 o root 3. 2. If you use your calculator and get the wrong answer due to a typo, you get nothing for it. At least if you show how you get your answer using the Argand diagram etc., you will get some marks. Anyway - I think that doing it using the Argand diagram is easier and quicker.
