I upgraded to this car from a 2007 Toyota Camry that my sister gave me for college as she didn’t need it anymore. I actually ended up getting attached to that car pretty quickly. It treated me very well, but it was of course old, and inevitably, the time came when I had to say goodbye to it. I was going to trade it for a 2021 Honda Civic Sport, but was worried that no other car was going to make feel as comfortable as I was in that Camry… Fast forward to today. From the moment I stepped on the Civic’s gas pedal, I not only felt comfortable both in and with it, but fell in love with it instantaneously. I had almost completely forgotten I even owned a different car prior to it, and so far, it’s been one of if not the most reliable, most satisfying car I’ve ever driven. (Granted, I know it was a huge upgrade, but I’ve driven a lot of cars in my life-I was even a valet attendant at one point. Everything I said above still goes.)

Same here, I just had to retire my 2009 Toyota Camry SE. had her for 3 years. It was my first car, payed in full, up front. I mean it was older but like you said, treated me well, until it didn’t. Im going to the dealership next week to pick up a 2021 civic sport. So thank you for the relatable input on this car!

I just upgraded to a 21 civic sport. from a 2005 Ford F150. I’m a truck guy but my commute to work with a V8 was a little extreme. I wasn’t in the market for a vehicle and didn’t really plan on getting one. But stopped at my local dealership and the salesman behind the desk was a good one. So I’m the proud new “owner” of a 21 civic sport. I’ve noticed the money I’ve saved in gas in the month I’ve been driving the new car, I do like it a lot.

I’m so glad I was able to get a new 2020 model year Civic Sport Sedan as it was the last year to get one with a 6 speed manual transmission. The 2.0 naturally aspirated port injected engine paired with a manual gearbox is definitely the most reliable way to buy a modern Civic. These are great cars for the $ 👍🏻

I really don't like the infotainment UI design of the civic it looks like something from the late 2000's to early 2010's. Overall it is a really great car. I just wish the interface didn't look a little outdated. They defiantly fixed that with the 2022 version though.

capless fuel doors are a bad idea when they stop sealing and you're always getting emission trouble codes and they're not easy to replace from the looks of it. i never clean my gas cap and its never filthy lol probably cleaner than any gas station filler. the fuel door is sealed with a rubber gasket, impossible to become filthy. honda has lost their marbles a bit "fixing" something that wasnt broken, more like they broke what wasnt broken. maybe they're worried about people with weak wrists? again, gas nozzles are heavy and rather hard to handle harder than a gas cap twist. ...maybe just as bad as toyota using some kind of plastic sway bar connecting link. reliability is getting worse even with toyota and honda! not sure if toyotas have capless fueling. things getting worse with time in some ways. there are other troubling things with new cars that i could mention but it'd be a while to type. like those wimpy CVTs that cant take the power of the engine at launch and the computer is probably programmed to not give you all the power to keep from breaking the cvt. 158hp 2 liter but toyota has a 168hp 2 liter and a cvt with normal 1st gear letting you have all the power from a standstill so toyota is probably the better option. aand toyota has port injectors with direct so you'll never have gummed up intake valves.
@chocolatewheelchair4 жыл бұрын
Cap less fuel filing is amazing because in my state you can’t pump your own gas so when you get a brand new car and get gas for the first time the derp at the gas station drops the cap wreckleawlt against the side of the car just letting it hang there against the paint however we will have to wait to see how reliable it is long term
@watch_todays_noah_jon_kleck_yt4 жыл бұрын
@@chocolatewheelchair yea thats a plus in that case. i've already watched a repair being done on a car with capless and it was hard at least on the particular make and model. i'd stil be worried about someone pumping my gas they could drag the metal nozzle against the paint too lol better put clear bra around there for gas attendants
