Means it’s not tuned perfect therefore having a dead spot in powerband

Soon every manufacturer will be similar to KTM. Highest form of flattery I suppose. I love my 2018 ktm 250sxf. I want another 450 to be even lazier on. Then on days Im not lazy I'll ride my mint 01 cr125 😁

So basically a great bike with a mapping hiccup and soft suspension. Suspension is an easy fix and I'm sure if Honda themselves don't fix the mapping someone will. Most bikes need a few tweaks and if it's down to those two I reckon they've done pretty well.

You've got to remember these tester's are full blown pros or ex pros who ride everyday so this suspension will seem too soft for them. The Showas on the hondas have been perfect for 95% of riders lately and all pros revalve to their riding style anyway. Even if they did switch to KYB doesn't mean it will be as good as the Yamahas as there has been plenty of atrocious KYB suspension setup on stock bikes over the years
