Thanks for the honest video. 57 horsepower should be plenty for 90% of the amateur's out there. If you are a top pro, you will be doing some modifications on your new showroom bike, anyway. I didn't hear anything really bad or that can't be fixed easily. Watching you ride, that bike does turn like a champ. It's beautiful and probably bullet proof, as most Honda's are. I look forward to see all the 450's and 250's go head to head in MA's shootouts. BTW, I love the look of the bike.

yeah seriously, its the torque curve that really makes the bikes faster or slower than the others. it isnt at all about peak numbers and it seems like the manufacturers are realizing that and making the motors more manageable.

I want to see torque and hp sheets, review the power band, manufacturers are scared to death to put out Dyno sheets, test results. So yeah, I agree, we don't just want to see what happens at 13k rpm, we want to see the dyno sheets.

Funny you say you like the 3 map settings but last year or so I think it was you that said that you didn’t like the Yamaha and doing map adjustment cause it’s a waste of time! Lol funny thing is you go to rest and have plenty of time or pull off and it takes a couple of seconds. Plus the fact you can program 2 of them in it and later out others in it and save all of them on your phone. Huge difference in what you can do with their technology.

My friend has the Kawasaki and jumped off his onto the Yamaha and he said he didn’t feel any difference. But after riding the Yamaha he wants one now. He said the power was better and longer, suspension was better and he loved how it handled..

He mentioned that the 2023 CRF 450 is considerably slower than last year. Does this effect top speed? I ride wide-open trails, so I am more concerned with higher speeds and maximum horsepower than I am with suspension and chassis adjustments.

My new 2022 CRF 450 RL rides as stiff as a mini bike with no suspension or a covered wagon do not ever ever take that off road I put $4,000 of upgrades in it already had $900 of work done to the suspension hardly helped at all s t i f f as a 2x4 but great on the street and my new pipe and ECU and Supercross tires low mirrors other than that it looks great and also got the hell rid of that back license plate that hangs down to the street hopefully the shop that did my suspension will do it all over again revolve it again and Springs

Big dyno numbers to another channel I watch. Sure there is variation from dyno to dyno of course. If your not close to the stock weight for suspension, then it's never probably going to feel good.

@@bknoxx yeah I heard so much about how fun they are. Hands down funnest bike I've ever rode. It's so light and the power is just enough. The power feels like you can't really get into trouble on it and doesn't wear you out. The 300 might be too much for my skill level. It feels like a tractor compared to 250, quite a bit more power.

Yet again Honda of Japan makes us realize. We will never be truly happy with the power until they correct thier mistakes. Which just happens to be in thier faces.
