I purchased one of these. I've always had big bikes but its enough for the motorways in the uk, reasonable wind protection. The faults are the bumpy suspension, especially on the front, but that's scooters for you. At night its dark around the dash area. There's no backlight? If you’re getting older and struggling with a motorbike, a scooter is a good alternative. It is easy to get on and off easy to ride.

yeah i am still surprised how much power it has on tap and howeasy it cruses at 60 mph/100 kph. i bet in other countries it would cruise along at 75 mph/120 kph pretty easy too. what i really like is the torque from kick-off to 60 mph. its pretty quick for a twist and go. i thought i'd miss changing gears but on this bike i don't care...lol all the best

I have owned my 2021 model here in London for seven weeks and have clocked up almost 3,000 miles as of today. I thoroughly enjoy it and it's a delight to ride. I echo the rear shock comment but I can live with it for now. I won't upgrade the shocks at least for another year. By the way, I see you have removed the plastic covers from your bars! Thanks for the videos :-)
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro 2 жыл бұрын
i too can actually live with theshocks and have now placed them at their lowest setting. i had my camera mounted on the bars on the way out to the area i stopped at. no room to connect it with the plastics in place but i must admit i think it looks far better with the plastic intact and i think i will move to a helmet mount. thats a pretty good effort -5000klm in a matter of just a few weeks. im pretty impressed how quick it can get off the mark plus an easy cruiser at 60 mph/100 kph plus the braking too. ive tried them out a few times from 100 kph to near zero and i've had quite a few bikes which wouldn't equal these stoppers so happy there too
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro 2 жыл бұрын
bar cover removed only to run the camera mount and its back on now and looks much better...lol either way not much trouble to pull/replace. shortly i plan to take it out on a better road to ride on and give it a longer run and just see how that pans out. its been raining lately but hope to do it soon. im waiting for a full set of shocks to arrive for the car so no hurry to play with the bike...lol i bet on a good road it will ride pretty good. 7 weeks and 3,000 miles is a nice run. ive been struck out since i bought it with bad weather and covid lockdowns or i'd had many more klm on it. astill with only a tad over 600 klm on the clock there are two things which impress me. 1. nice power deliver and good torque down low for a 350cc motor 2. nice abs brakes and can pull one down from highway speed pretty quick so if one has adequate power and good brakes-how can you lose buying one of these!

I'll be interested seeing a clip regarding what is required to service the Forza. You would think that it would be more of a hassle to service a scooter due to the extensive faring panels than to service a typical motorcycle. But perhaps that is not the case. I am really lost when it comes to maintaining modern scooters as the last scooter that I owned was a 1963 Lambretta 150Li (bought new for $335 USD). After riding the Lambretta for 7K miles, I switched to motorcycles (a 1963 Yamaha YD3) and never looked back - although maybe I should have.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro 2 жыл бұрын
just a straight service like a oil and filter change would be pretty easy but should it be more serious and the plastics have to be removed-i think that would be pretty involved. this scoot does everything well. i have and have had cycles i like much better for the ride experience alone but come with some annoying drawbacks what i can say is i am impressed with this 350cc motor and it performs well in this auto style bike.

Depending on where and how often you ride, I could see the suspension becoming a real problem. Anything less than touring would be fine but doing big days...nah. Just my guess that is. I have a PCX and an AK 550 and for around town, the PCX is a weapon but long rides and the twisties, the AK comes into it's own, even though it too, is good around town. Nothing an upgrade for the 350 couldn't fix though.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro 2 жыл бұрын
i think if i was serious and planned to do a few long hauls i'd probably pay the $$$ and upgrade the rear shocks. at the moment on roads i ride i actually find it rides the bumps better than some of my other rides...lol a fair few owners complain about the suspension and i can see their point but saying that i've been on far worse. overall its a nicely put together scooter and runs extremely well not quite as well as that AK550 though...lol i actually thought about one of those but no dealers in close prox.

Hey Warro. The Forza is a nice looking bike. I did consider the Forza 350, but have now selected the Tricity 350, however, new bikes seem to be rarer the rocking horse feces. I could be waiting 6 months for a new Tricity (UK) and accessories seem to be the same too. The dealer said it may be best for me to shop around as their supply was poor. How is the situation with new and second hand bikes in Australia?

i thought about the vespa 300 gts i think. little bit expensive here and i think i was quoted roughly aud$13K or maybe near the 14K mark. Honda was around aud $10k plus i had sort of overspent for the year with a few other bikes too...lol either way the experience of riding a scooter is sort of a difference and now the lockdown has ended - i might hit the road again tomorrow. have already fueled it up...lol i might even plan a good long run too even a 2 or 3 hundred mile loop all the best!

The Vespa is a bit more than it’s probably worth in comparison to other scooters but that’s the style/ icon tax l guess. That’s what got me buying it over the Honda. The Honda ( and it’s big brother the 750 adv ) keep getting such good press by those who actually use them, and are so fun and easy to live with. I had bikes alone for decades but middle age and less care of top speed led me to scooters where l found the freedom and fun bikes had before they exited the 100 hp realm and became very serious.

@@goldilocks913 i think what really steered me away from the vespa was the only dealer locally was 300 miles or 500 klm round trip. i thought i'd have to get one serviced a couple of times and in our town theres a local honda dealer so tha was the best option. now i have experienced scooter i wouldnt rule out a vespa 300 the 750 adv is not available here so the 350 is the max. i bet if it was there'd be no change out of aud$20K as for speed my main concern is i want a bike which will cruise at 100 kph and pull hills easy. surprisingly the forza 350 does that and does it easy

@@ridewithwarro the mainland European riders are way ahead of us in knowing the benefits of these excellent machines on their roads .
