G'Day Mate! New sub from New England USA. I'm pushing retirement myself and down to my last bike in the barn - a 2021 Honda CB300R (blue). I'm pretty rural and stick to the back road twisties. I've been complaining to Honda for years about not bringing the CB350 / GB350 / CB350RS to the USA and UK markets. The SCL500 here is above price point in this economy and quite frankly a very plain rendition of it's scrambler ancestor, and not much more than a redesigned Rebel-I've told Honda as much. Honda needs to 'read the room' in this economy and realize that the strongest 'buying' sector for motorcycles is us old dudes and this bike checks the right boxes ;-) Cheers!

I'm 74 and bought a GB350 in January. As another utube channel says, 'old not dead'. Passed my bike test in 1968.

I'm 69 and still in decent health and I agree with you..keep going. I have a Honda ct125 here in Thailand and I enjoy riding. I wish I had the back country roads to drive on like you have. Do you still have your Ride with Warro Chanel ?

God bless you with many more years of riding! Ride safely out there. From experience, I’ve noticed that after turning 60 or 70, my parents began driving cars worse than before. Whether it's due to not paying attention or other reasons, I’m not sure. But I hope you stay focused, as this is crucial in motorcycling.

Yes i hate to say it but I didn't feel too safe in with my old man......and that was in the 1970's. Not the tables have turned! Anyway I'm going dirt and like to photograph the Australian fauna and flora and the best place to do that is on lonely backroads. I might even do some ride and cook/coffee breaks too. Well i have plans all i have to do is put them into practise. cheers

Love the video & the bike, i have the Honda CB 300r & i hope to be still riding at 70+. Your inspiring buddy keep it up & ride safe out there.

Thanks. Bike seat was a bit hard and as much as i hate to say...gave the prostate a bit of a workout. i had to pull the seat and cut a square out and I fitted some blue gel from ebay. that appeared to work as I got out of this rough dirt ride with no more issues Cheers

@@bushcraftsaustralia6766 I put a LuiMoto gel insert under the skin of my CB300R and it make all the better difference. Looks OEM but feels so much better than OEM ;-)

All Aussie Adventures, time to hit the road! Good one Warro. 9 years out and counting. Empty nesters now, so plenty of space for the wife and I once I clock off for the final time.

It is! I found it a little bit rough really but i thought slow and steady will be best. Only real issue I never had puncture repair kit but they are new tyres. I will look into that side. i plan to do some roadside coffee breaks as I have various camping stoves and a drone too

I’m 72, I ride dirt bikes with guys in their 80’s. I ride a Beta Xtrainer and Yamaha FZ1. You have to decide when you’re too old to ride. If you’re going to ride more dirt, you might consider a different bike, something lighter that you can pick up by yourself.
@bushcraftsaustralia67662 ай бұрын
Good point there.My plan is to do just slows rides to show a bit of the local countryside. Cheers

GB350 never came to the UK, so the RE Hunter has to be good enough for me, thoroughly enjoying it and will be putting trail tyres on at as well!

I see no reason why not. This one runs well on the dirt and it's really a road bike. I have a few ride plans myself. Cheers
