Great machine! I got mine just over a month ago and my brother bought one too. I personally took the nets off, always in the way and who like looking around at the scenery and all you see net, unless your shooting hoops.

What's the point of having this? It's expensive as heck and not practical.
@dannyboy71222 жыл бұрын
It’s actually VERY practical for anyone that lives near mountains, on a farm/ranch, etc… cheaper than a truck and can do many similar small tasks.

Do you want to sell it to me? I’m in Lehi. Haha
@dannyboy71222 жыл бұрын
Dang is there none in dealers? I’m sure my dad would sell it but not for a price anyone would be happy with lol

Yeah none around here that I can tell.

Read your Owner Manual. 1 rider = 2000lbs towing...2 riders = 1500 etc. You gotta take off what you put in the bike from the towing rating.. :(

Your dad didn't paint the top because blue doesn't grab and store heat as much in the sun as black, id be willing to bet...nice machine.

That’s exactly why he did it! Just looks kinda funny lol. Thank you!!

I’ve got one. The only thing I don’t like is how hot the back seats get. I nearly never ride it but it’s a monster.

You’re totally right. Gets a lot dustier back there after the windshield instal as well.

I hope to get a Honda Pioneer 1000-5 someday. It's better than the other UTVs because it has a DCT, not a CVT. Looks like you're in Utah too.
@dannyboy7122 Жыл бұрын
I am in Utah! And yes the automatic transmission is fantastic. I like it a lot more over the belt drive in my RZR

Best buggy on the market. I want one for my farm and family. I'd probably have to go with OG Honda Red
@dannyboy71222 жыл бұрын
It sure is. And I 100% agree with you that red is beautiful

Preferring this over a rzr is one thing. But to say you have to warm up the rzr or turbo shows you’re clueless. Had a 19 turbo with 3500 miles no issues and never warmed anything up. Now a 21 turbo s with 2000 miles and zero issues and never warmed anything up.

How is the interior heat I've heard it gets pretty warm
@dannyboy71223 жыл бұрын
It's honestly not bad! We don't have a windshield so the circulation is just fine! And the foot well doesn't get near as hot as my RZR

Hi. Would you tell me what material your dad used for the roof - waiting for my 1000 to be delivered and interested in making the roof too. Thanks
@dannyboy71222 жыл бұрын
He went to Home Depot and bought a plastic panel of some sorts! Just something wide and long enough to cover the roof. He then just painted one side of it so it doesn’t look “too funny”. And just zip tied it on!

Thanks for the info - thank your dad for me too.

@aidenheikes25653 жыл бұрын
Look at your states laws but I think you just need turn signals
@dannyboy71223 жыл бұрын
We drive it on the street all the time! Had the dealership install a street legal kit. I believe it was around $500-$600. Turn signals, hazards, horn, and mirrors.

@@dannyboy7122 yamaha rmax 1000 seemed more playful and shifted better. I am still looking and comparing. I have a lot of research to do. This honda is still a contender because of reliability.
@dannyboy71222 жыл бұрын
I’ve never had the chance to drive the rmax! Yamaha is usually right up there with Honda in terms of reliability! If I’m ever purchasing a power sport toy it will always be a Yamaha! (Except for my rzr lol)
@tomcat69332 жыл бұрын
@@dannyboy7122 I am checking reviews on polaris general, can am commander, yamaha rmx and your honda. Nobody has any yamaha's in stock. These are a lot of money so any recommendations are greatly appreciated. You mentioned you have a rzr. Should I eliminate polaris from my list. I don't want maintenance issues. I have owned 3 polaris jet ski's and 1 of them was in the shop more than in the water.
@dannyboy71222 жыл бұрын
The main thing I love about the Honda is the transmission. You don’t need to deal with crappy clutches and belts. Once you own one that has problems (like me) you’ll never go back. If I could do it again I would probably buy a canam because of the speed and the power delivery (much smoother) but I’m talking about the turbo models and you’re more lookin for utility from the sound of it!
@12gaugeTim3 жыл бұрын
Turf mode is just RWD with anlocked differentials. By putting it in 2WD you're locking the rear. 4WD will make the transfer case send power to the front wheels, and then 4WD diff lock obviously locks all the diffs. Truthfully you should keep it in turf mode all the time until you think you might need more traction.
@dannyboy71223 жыл бұрын
What’s the risk just running in 2wd?
@12gaugeTim3 жыл бұрын
@@dannyboy7122 it puts unnecessary wear on the rear differential. Also the vehicle will drive a lot better in turf mode. You ever turn sharp on pavement in 2WD and hear the tires chirping? That’s because the outside rear tire is dragging.
@sergionavarro1707 Жыл бұрын
I just got a 1000-6 Crew, so to drive in paved streets set it on Turf? That’s how I have it. Wasn’t sure if I should set in 2WD so this helps. I’m new to the UTV world. If anyone can share some examples on when to shift the from turf,2WD,4Wheel or diff lock? Thx guys

@@trevorburgess2643 nice! I don't like anything red either! To be totally honest, he has probably driven it less than 5 miles. I'm usually the only one to drive them and I love it! I would highly recommend making your own roof and windshield! Saves you around $1000!

How is the ride quality compared to the rzr?
@dannyboy71223 жыл бұрын
It’s not comparable at all. RZR (especially with dynamix) feels like it’s on a cloud. 60 mph over anything and it’s smooth as butter. The Honda is still very good, still doesn’t touch the Polaris!
