Awesome looking hunt! I have a hunch you were in unit 14 or the surrounding units since it was the CWD hunt. I've always hunted my home of southern idaho but decided to put in for the unit 14 rut hunt since its easy to draw right now due to the cwd. I pulled it and was just curious if you have any suggestions or good advice about the area, any help is appreciated but if you'd prefer not to share no worries, thanks for the good content regardless, cheers!

As a Western hunter from Ut and have snuck over to Idaho to hunt elk and deer, I can say, the scenery is like nothing else. Hey David thanks. Yeah it definitely was a steep area ha ha. So this was a special hunt that the fish and game had because of the detection of CWD in a few deer from an earlier season. It was a December hunt but earlier in the year I think they have general and draw hunts for both residents and non residents. I am shooting a .257 Weatherby mag with a 100 grain Barnes Triple shock with RL 22 going 3700 ft per second. Was a super fun hunt

It's good to see you shot a good mulie up there and the camera doesn't do it justice to how steep that country is. Thanks Trevor, I’ll get a kill shot next time ha ha. Once the kill switch flips it hart to focus on anything else.

I fought some fires in Idaho. Steep country. Awesome place!
