I think it happened after "THE HOLY SHOT/ THE SHOT HEARD 'ROUND THE WORLD"....😬😬🧐🧐🧐 it takes a psychological toll on your game when you all but have the championship claimed, only to be usurped by the greatest shot anyone will see in disc golf! In my opinion, the first sign of McBeast trying to play outside of HIS game was in the playoff forced by James Conrad's IMMACULATE REDEMPTION. Furthermore, I LOVE DISC GOLF SO MUCH AND I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY KZbin SUGGESTED IT ALMOST 6 YEARS AGO, I have been ADDICTED ever since. Thank You JomezPro, all versions of BIG JERM COMMENTARY, the patrons and; last but not even close to least, the on-course crew/editors! I really hope Paul finally holds on and gets another tour win. It’s almost sad seeing him miss in the circle putts and have mental lapses that he literally never made before. It’s like you can just tell by his play he’s got so much going on outside of the course with his designing and charity stuff and media availability and everything he’s doing that he’s putting effort into.
@thebeasters3 жыл бұрын
Yeah he's been falling off the last few years, the putting a little bit, I have no idea why he changed his form. But like with worlds and other things, he turns simple par 3s into 5s and then still only ends up losing by a stroke or 2. Another thing I noticed is very simple sidearm holes, since you went to ditch craft it's like he's trying to prove a point and throws turnover backhands

For those who comment on Ricky's lack of supportive comments to Paul- these guys have a huge rivalry going back many years and tournaments. They are not just playing against the course and themselves, they are primarily playing against each other. As ultra competitive as these two are, I think they thrive on the rivalry during play and wouldn't have it any other way
@johnhorner19693 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s just weird to see Ricky very vocally complementing all the other players when they throw good shots but never Paul. Paul generally stays quiet during rounds. I get the rivalry, it’s just weird and comes off as a bit petty. If you are going to yell “good shot Kev” all day, but stay silent when Paul absolutely shreds the course, Ricky is rightly going to take some heat for it.
