My BMW from 2000 had the adjustable windscreen. Was happy to see it on the Challenger when I purchased it.

Kool aid, I was once there too. Here’s the truth, once you dont give a fuck what HD folks think you’ll do the same. Hell, I ride in a club full of HDs only and everyone is tripping over the ride of this beast. Several have already said that they’re making the change
@harryhowell56443 жыл бұрын
I just rode one on demo days. I thought it was smooth but thought it would be faster based on all the rave reviews.I have an ultra limited stage 2. It did not feel any faster to me. I also rode the new roadmaster limited. I liked it better handled easily , liked the cooled seat feature. Both bikes badly needed a tune. No matter what "mode". Liked the clutch and chassis. The audio on my 2017 HD was better than both these bikes. Like the HD engine better.The indian roadmaster felt tiny compared to the ultra. That was ok as I'm short. Suspension I'll give to indian. The screen on the roadmaster was rattling around on the ride? Just differ I guess. Fun bikes for sure

@@CassidyCarson Already have friends that have done just that. They rode their Harley to test ride the Indian and in their own words they said the Challenger was a better performer.

We get it…. Your bike is the biggest fastest loudest bike in the world! And Harley can’t be beat,…. But here in reality, we realize that flannel the challenger beats Harley in, absolutely every category, except for fit and finish.

You mentioned you like your low rider handling better than this, is this before or after suspension upgrade?
@CassidyCarson3 жыл бұрын
After. Without the upgrade it’s honestly about even, which is insane because this bike is like 150lbs heavier! With the taller shocks though, I can corner a bit better on mine. It also may just be because I’m way more used to it 🤷🏼♂️😂

Carson , are you a long time owner of Harley's? BTW, my 1982 Suzuki Katana had a powered windshield, as does my 2000 BMW K1200LT. Shows how low tech the Harley's are! Slow too!
@CassidyCarson3 жыл бұрын
While I agree with you that the tech aspects of most Harleys could be updated (I think they’re coming around now), I also think that they’re supposed to me more “classic” styled analog bikes. A lot of people want those old school vibes. And slow is a matter of perspective. Most Harleys aren’t made to go super fast from the factory, their made to be cruisers with low end torque. That being said, my Harley still keeps up just fine with mid tier sport bikes, and I’m sure as hell a lot more comfortable on long rides 😉.

Why do Harley owners test drive the Indian and realize how perfect the bike is but still hang on to the Harley culture. I get it you can love your choice but if a machine stands out and above then just say it. People like Chevys but everyone knows that a Mercedes is in a different class.
@CassidyCarson2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good point! But there are a lot of reasons to like a Chevy vs a Mercedes. While I’m not saying it’s the same comparison, they are different machines. One may perform better, but you might want the Chevy for its reliability or ease of maintenance, or maybe you need a truck for its utility. The best way I could put it would be to say that riding a Harley and riding an Indian are two different experiences. I absolutely love the challenger don’t get me wrong, but there’s something about riding my Low Rider that just speaks to my soul. That being said, I don’t discriminate and whatever you’re on just enjoy the ride! I might end up getting a challenger when it’s time to add a bigger bike, I might also get a road glide 🤷🏼♂️. Like I said, I like both for different reasons but as far as I’m concerned as long as you’re on two wheels I’m still gonna give you a wave as we ride past each other ✌🏻 (Unless maybe you’re on a moped 😂)
