The KRX is so capable. I have had mine for over a year. Definitely a skid plate and some sort of suspension upgrade and you’ll be at 14-15” of ride height. I live next to Sand Hollow and lots of people say that I’m a cheater because of how easy the KRX makes things look. Look into weights and a BadAss belt and enjoy!

I just bought the same machine down to the color I’m going to pick it up in Kentucky Saturday I’m really looking forward to this buggy, probably one of the best machines I’ve seen as far as factory stock, great video thanks

Yes it is one of the toughest machines we have seen so far

Congrats on the new ride!! Bought my 2020 new and have 1000 miles on it and have loved every bit of it. I ride with a Talon, a pair of X3’s and a RZR Pro. We ride in Texas and Arkansas, from muddy conditions, technical trails to casual forest trails. In those environments, do as good or better than those other rigs, and I’m still running stock tires. The only issue I’ve had is the clutch weights causing a “shifting” feeling when going through the RPM range. Right Coast Off Road and others sell kits. As others have said, look at a rear skid plate (at least) because of the tranny protection.
@XpensiveDecisions2 жыл бұрын
We are pretty much the same, variety of rides and it has been a great rig in all stock form. We are aware of clutch and don’t have any issues but plan to upgrade when we put bigger tires on it. Skid plate will be soon, already have used it a lot and it shows.

Recently got a KRX myself. It is my first side by side and I have to agree, I couldn’t be more impressed with the beefiness and capabilities from the factory compared to my buddies RZR’s and Can Am’s. I went ahead and put 35” Roxxzillas on it and have noticed no downsides thus far going up to a 35. Congrats on the new rig and can’t wait to see more vids on it!
@XpensiveDecisions3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. That is the plans with this also is to go to 35s. We all love zillas but he might try something out to just compare. We will test it out for sure. Congrats on you you getting a sxs.

The KRX is a great machine. We have rode it hard with no broken parts yet. Just upgraded to 35” zillas so we will see what that does to it

@@XpensiveDecisions Did you have to make any upgrades to go to the 35 inch tires for clearance? I had a 2021ES model for a little while. Uncle sam got after me soooo…. But now I am back And Uncle Sam should be leaving me alone ha ha

@@novasxs2236 it has shock therapy spring kit on it for about 3” of lift. Some have said they will fit stock but we don’t know. No issues with it lifted so far

I like the "directors commentary". hahaha. I'm trying to get my guys involved more and they are definitely camera shy, so I find myself doing the same thing on the videos I'm editing. keep it up. congrats on the new krx

I saw the clips at the end and said, damn they are at RRMT lol. I am looking at sxs now. Took a bad spill on the bike out there in April and got beat up pretty bad. With age comes a cage lol. Hope to see yall out there next season.

Yes I have been riding RRMT for over 20 years. Way back into the quad days. We don’t ride there as much anymore but we do plan Thanksgiving every year.
@1rustyshackelford3 жыл бұрын
You’ll love the KRX. Tender springs and skid plates is all they need. Looks like y’all ride RRMT and Crossbar?
@XpensiveDecisions3 жыл бұрын
Shock therapy will be one of the first upgrades. One of the best things you can buy. Yes we ride at RRMT every thanksgiving, crossbar, hidden falls. Barnwell mountain is closest so we ride it a lot.

Hey guess I’m in the market for a side by side I was gonna go with an x3 but I live in maine and the trails are pretty rough. Lots of loose rocks mud and sand. I guess I’m asking if this would work well for me up here. I don’t really like the 65mph speed governor though. Thanks
@XpensiveDecisions2 жыл бұрын
The gearing and speed limiter does hurt top end but everything else is great on these machines. X3 is a good choice just make sure it has the smart lock front diff.

Hey guys, great videos love them all, keep up the good work. I am looking to buy a sxs and have narrowed it down to the Polaris RZR Trail/Rock edition or a Kawasaki KRX. I live in Colorado and will be doing mostly mountain trails but close to Moab and will go there on occasion. If you had to pick one machine would you go with the RZR or KRX?
@XpensiveDecisions2 жыл бұрын
They are both great machines. Hard to say which is really better but the KRX has a lot more cab space and we do like the longer wheel base better. But the Trails and Rocks is a lot lighter, seems easier to drive as far as not being so bulky. It’s a preference really.

Hey guys, Great info and great fun video. I would like your opinions on two sxs I want to choose between to buy. Can am Commander XTP or the Yamaha Rmax XTR. Both 2022 and both 2 seaters. Both of them I like but can't decide. Ive always had Can am and have had zero issues for 15 yrs and 2 different vehicles. Looking to stay 64" wide too. Thanks.
@XpensiveDecisions3 жыл бұрын
We have not rode either one. We have had the original commander for years and the newer ones are improvements on that platform. So I would lean more towards the Can-Am.

How's the power. Is it quick enough
@XpensiveDecisions2 жыл бұрын
Power is really good, good torque. It compares really close to our other 1000 cc rides. Clutching is the best part of KRX

I think the 2021 was right at 23k for trail edition. They have gone up for the 2022 year with exact same options and colors. 2023 trail edition will have a new color combination.
