Kawasaki did an amazing job on their first sport side by side design. I work for a Brp/Polaris/Kawasaki dealer and I wrench in them all all day. Phenomenal job in my opinion. Not the fastest or butt puckering as some others but it definitely puts the right amount of power to the ground.

Dirt Trax TV wanted to ask - I noticed you never mention the price of units when you review them. Is there a reason for that? Just thought I’d inquire - I know for a lot of people price plays a huge role in what they’re going to buy.
@dirttraxtv4 жыл бұрын
Sometimes we do, but you're right we usually leave that out of the review simply because MSRP is available so easily on the OEM websites in different currencies country to country. Trim levels are all different and most sites let you fully build your ride on their website too. Nothing sinister, just a choice we make when scripting.

I really like the Teryx. It is a good machine and pretty strong too. I would like to see this 1000 in it. Its only downfall is that it isn't a utility vehicle and it isn't a pure sport so it does neither REALLY well, but for a sport ute it is a great UTV. It has sporty elements to it and it is super fun to drive, but obviously the KRX . We did a huge Hatfield McCoy ride in the Teryx a few season ago (no cameras). Was awesome for those trails. I was severely unimpressed with the KRX. It's the slug of SxS market. The power honestly felt like a 500cc motor. I was also unimpressed with the low end grunt which is what the KRX was suppose to shine in. Me personally, I'd never even consider buying one. Way better options out there. The KRX is a huge flop in my opinion.
@dirttraxtv4 жыл бұрын
I do not agree that it feels like a 500cc engine. The low end is less than impressive, which could be resolved with some clutch tuning and I do feel it needs more top end, but mid-range it shines.

I'm sure by next year, they'll offer a "turbo" upgrade
@moose11644 жыл бұрын
@@dirttraxtv it takes so long for that engine to build power though that's why it doesn't feel like a 1k machine (to me). The power comes on very bland. The vast majority of owners will never tune the machine and will leave it as they bought it. They will buy it and only add accessories. That is where Kawasaki messed up. In order to compete in the SxS market you have to do something better than the competing market. Give people a reason to buy it over the competition, like ride quality/suspension, power, reliability or price point. I'm honestly expecting this machine to not sell very well. Only die hard Kawasaki fans will probably buy it.

Over priced , underpowered for the weight, really not sure of that odd look from beyond the seats to rear, polaris pro xp 181hp 26,990 in my opinion more machine less money. Just saying, love this channel so please don't retire lol.

Those scrapers don't do good with rock. They will destroy wheels and hubs. Remove immediately

It is heavy and fully loaded up. Gotta think it was designed to scale up to a factory turbo.

Video was focused on you, not on the product you are describing. Very poor video if you are trying to showcase the product, not showcasing you!

Think you need to watch the video again, James.

To bad they are priced for the rich only

Just priced out of your budget. There's plenty of lower priced UTVs on the market.

Dirt Trax TV after years of motocross a lower end model just doesn’t work for me 😅 I have a ranger 570 for the farm and have had can am and Polaris when the 1000s first came out as well as a turbo but I really wanna try one of the Japanese machines out 🤙🏽

@@freedomisntfree_44 I am in the same boat as you, having raced moto forever I dont want a rzr900. I crave something that jams! I have a ranger 900 on our farm and its good for what its built for and nothing more.
@dirttraxtv4 жыл бұрын
Yup, I'm on board here. I drove the RZR PRO XP this week and as soon as I got home I spent the rest of the night calculating payments and also imagining if Polaris made a 60-inch wide version with a 1000 - something smaller with a ton of jam. Outside that, I'd re-mortgage my house to buy a PRO XP. Impressive piece of equipment.

Overweight and over priced in my opinion.
@dirttraxtv4 жыл бұрын
Agree on the weight, but feel for what you get on this vehicle its pricing is in line with the Talon R and a loaded up XP1K.
@shawndejong66994 жыл бұрын
@@dirttraxtv I hear what you're saying but that's a mildly modded X3 XDS Turbo R. Or a stock RZR Pro. I think Honda and Kawasaki have gone way too far on the pricing. They're in big turbo territory with very few reasons as to why.
