This LS 500 is insanely quiet, this is one of the quietest cars I have seen on POV test drive. I recently watched the new 2021 s class POV test drive and that luxury car isn't this quiet. Heard quite a bit of wind noise in that car. The only other car quieter than this is the new Rolls Royce Ghost. This LS is amazing

Lexuses have always been very quiet. i had a 2007 RX350, it’s still by far the quietest car i’ve had/been in. and i’ve been in many nicer cars (not mine lol) - 7 series, E-Class, Cayenne etc, none even come close.

@@gamall1 Is there really a Lexus LS 300? I never knew that the LS had a "300" type, if there was an LC 300, namely the 2022 toyota land cruiser or called the toyota LC 300 where this car is the base form for the lexus line up LX series

@@lightshunshine3861 I meant to say LS 350 sorry for my typo. It is the same as LS 500 but it has less engine power. No twin turbo. It’s available here in the gulf region and I’m not sure if it is elsewhere.

@@gamall1 I also just found out that there is an LS350, because as far as I remember the LS is above 400 type and in the 300 range it is the RX, ES, NX or IS type but I just found out that there is an LS350. Actually not all Lexus cars are quite because according to people who know about Lexus and Toyota, the Lexus in the modern generation is not quite as quite as the old generation (since there was the F-sport segment) even the Lexus RX which is f-sport only has a stiff suspension + a bit noisy because the sound of the engine mb they didnt put double glass window. The most quite Lexus car is probably the LS 500 type, and that is also helped by noise reduction materials from the outside including double glass windows, now my question is does the Lexus LS 350 you mean have the features I mentioned above, such as double glass windows?

Awesome car! That Lexus LS500 is so quiet I thought my volume was on mute, even under acceleration not much engine noise. Only under full throttle could I hear the engine note, and it sounds great. Your Night Drive videos are some of the best I've seen online. Nighttime really seems to fit the character of a luxury car, and the LS 500 shines after dark!

What a luxurious beast of a car. Cabin noise and ambience are so worth the price, not to mention the infotainment system and Lexus’ famous engine reliability. In my opinion, I think it needs ambient lightings and option for AWD like the Acura TLX and Mercedes sedans. Add those in and this should easily get top place.

Like the car a lot. Interior is spectacular. However, it needs more tricks. Outside lights don’t do a dance, needs a classier start up chime, better ambient lighting, better gauges and better camera graphics. Glad the infotainment is now touch screen

Ambient lights are beautiful, and expected in cars at this price point, hints why the 2022 Lexus models moving forward all have them just like Mercedes. If you don't like them go into your settings and simply turn them off.

The ls500 especially the f sport really needs the following 1. 5.0L V8w 10 speed from the LC 2. The 10 speed with the crackles from the LC convertible and the same active exhaust from the LC convertible That combo would be epic...

Unfortunately the LC 500 V8 engine is better suited to a more sporty vehicle and does not provide the low down and midrange torque punch this 3.4 liter twin turbo engine provides. Big heavy luxury automobiles need big torque more so than a peaky high revving type of engine. A twin turbo 5 liter V8 however, would definitely get the job done though. We are more likely to see the twin turbo V6 accompanied by a mild hybrid electric setup in the future if we are lucky.

I gave a ‘21 LS500. Mica blue/ white interior. Yes this car is huge. I floats down the road as I hoped it would. Plenty of power and luxury plus being a Lexus, it will all most never break, sounds like a win win to me 🏖️

This car is really a very high quality and extremely well noise-damped vehicle that can be used for many miles. In my opinion, the Mark Levinson audio system is the absolute best on the market, well ahead of the Bowers and Wilkins audio system in the Volvo. Since this facelift will be the last before the model change in 2023/24, I hope that the next generation of the Lexus LS will come onto the market again with as many innovations as the model change from the LS 430 to the LS 460/600, so that this car will cover the entire luxury class turns the head and the cards in the segment will be reshuffled, and the Lexus will finally be the benchmark in the luxury class again. The first step in this direction will be the introduction of the new V8 biturbo engine generation. The second big step shows the introduction of the Lexus LF limitless which shows as a precaution where innovations and design technology are headed.

I think the LS maybe dead in the water. They projected selling 30k unites a year of this model in 2018. To date they have sold around 7800, which is why they did the refresh so quickly. As beautiful and well put together this is, this generation LS has been a sales floop for Lexus and they know it.

The ES fills most needs if someone wants want a Lexus sedan these days. And if someone is going to spend that kind of money for a sedan, it's going to be a Tesla or Mercedes/BMW/Audi.

Doesn’t have the road feel of a Bemmer or Mercedes but won’t have the high maintenance cost twitter. This is my choice in luxury cars. I drove my yukon for 14 years, an excellent large suv but I’m over SUVs. I’ll buy this and a small yard trailer if I need to occasional carry stuff.

Just got my first 500 this spring 2021, third owner Matador Red Panorama roof with 15,050 perfect miles. She is never that quiet, always fans running here in SoFlo for "ventilated" seats etc. and a/c plus Bridgestone runflats which are supposed to be silent but I''m not convinced. Anyway I'm old but not dead so run Sport Plus anyway. Great review! Have had just Lexus 8s for 25 years until this baby. Color gets lots of comments. Love!
