Can you ask Lexus if they are doing a redesign to the GXs? My dealership rep said, they are supposed to but not 100%sure. Also, are they ever going to get rid of the plastic around the wheel well? That just makes the vehicle look cheap,plus the plastic will eventually fade. That’s one of the main reasons I haven’t traded in my 2013 RX350.

If you notice in the picture you showed in the black line addition with the blue trim on the carpets the charger slot is the same as the 2020. However there’s a button above it for a wireless charging activation shown in the picture

The previous gen ended in 2015 and looks drastically different and wayyyy more aged than this one. This current gen has been in production since 2016 and still looks fairly modern in my opinion. The only thing that looks somewhat outdated is the base model gauge cluster. Plus a new model is slated for 2022. It should hold up fine until then, as it’s still the best seller in its class.

Doesn't affect Canadian RX since they start at the Premium package (you cannot get a standard package RX here) and they all came with power folding mirrors. BSM is also standard on RX in Canada for awhile now. The handling package comes bundled with the F-sport 2 and 3 as well here. They all get the AVS & Sport+ in this design. This feels like Lexus USA trying to pull a BMW or Porsche in breaking down features to make customers pay more to go more for the ordering process.

What are you talking about Kirk? My Rx 450h 2020 F sport 3 comes with wireless charger. I'm in Canada anyway. But we're missing 1 feature that US rx has is the Traffic Sign Recognition. That wasted slot at 1:44 you mentions, is where the wireless charger located for the Canadian Rx 2020. For all the North America Rx version, there are a lot of missing features that exist in Middle East and South East Asia version. FYI.

Yep - USA has never had wireless charger on RX until 2021. Also finding heated rear seats on the RX in America is very very difficult and can only be found with the power-folding seat option. NX, ES, UX, can't be had with heated rear seats here either.

I have the RX350 2020 Executive package I have a few big concerns I just reach 7, 000 KM 1 it’s anyone experienced some flat sound on the Mark Levinson sound system ? I just replaced my 2008 RX with a 2021 RX450h Premium package. My PCA doesn’t sense the front wall when I pull into my garage to beep when I’m getting close. Does it even have this feature? I can’t see anything in the manual. I’m in Canada.

99% sure you have that feature. The button should be by your hatch, heated steering wheel, and auto high beam buttons .

Hi mate. Lease to own is a good option. After three years, you can decide to keep the car OR if you wants and needs change in those three years, you can get into something different. Leasing you'll always be covered by warranty too

Few questions. 1) Is it better to go to the same dealer where I purchased this car. 2) I am in Canada and dealer is charging me MSRP $59700 less $2000 as manufacturer incentives. He is giving me $18k for my car. Car is in pristine condition. Sales guy mentioned he can get me 0.4% on lease. So $18k goes towards trade value and $335 per month lease for three years and just over $31000 buyout after three years at 1.9%. What else I can do get a better deal? How to negotiate or get some free stuff or may be a better package for the same price?

A far more practical new feature would be to add a remote start button to the remote. Who wants to use an app every time? Also, make it permanent. Otherwise, this vehicle is great in so many ways. You should also not lose the kick feature (opens trunk ) just because it came with a towing package. Even without the receiver installed you lose that sensor. At least the key still works to open the truck but... The sunroof should also open up more IMO.

Lexus really need to upgrade their infotainment system, transmissions, having the up to date odometer, wireless apple CarPlay, wireless android auto ASAP. They behind too many things on the car tech side compare to their rivals. In addition, Korean Genesis already create some masterpiece suvs like GV80, GV70. Even Nissan, Suzuki they all have the wireless apple CarPlay on their new products these days, Smh Toyota so disappointed these days!! Fun fact: Toyota already have partnership with BMW since 2012, I dont know why they not try to learn somethin new tech from they partners. I have the 2020 lexus rx300L and I have that cellphone holder, useless wireless charger. Drove from Chiba to Nagoya which is about a 5-6 hours drive and it probably charge 1%. Heats up my cellphone like the sun. I will tell my dealership about it. The treatment we get here in Japan is top notch but wireless charging is bust!

Haha nice joke on the land cruiser. To me any wireless charger without wireless carplay is pretty useless and the same goes the other around. I love my 2019 RX450H (with aftermarket wireless carplay that works better than the 2020 carplay) I am using the small wireless charging pad (20 buck amazon) in that small shelf behind the shift nob this setup works great.

Kirk Kreifels mines is made by Lsailt, it is a direct plug and play box that goes daisy chain into the back of the head unit for about $400ish, they have a few options and it will goes into any Lexus from last 10 years

@@flashbang217 I'm saying they can still probably make as much money by averaging the price of a vehicle line and load them up. My point is really that it doesn't make sense that you can get a mainstream car loaded with all the bells and whistle at a reasonable price but you have to pay extra premium for the same options on a Luxury car, the line is now blurred. example if you want the 360 camera on an RX you have to go to the top model of the RX. Are camera so expensive? nope they aren't. Luxury car should bring new technologies and clearly bring a big difference between its mainstream equivalent, but instead they have the same tech and you pay way more on the luxury version with stupid option package.

Who uses wireless charging? It's slow, inefficient and dangerous if you need a temporary space for keys or what not. I'd rather have a good old 12v outlet and put my own charger in it, be it a wired 5w charger if you want to spare your battery or a 100w usb pd charger for that quick boost, or actually anything that comes up in the next 5-10 years.

@@sd80mac well considering the options in Australia for a base IS is just a moonroof, I would gather quite a lot is your answer depending on the model. The Rx300 option pack in Australia is a bit more substantial with memory seats and the pano roof and leather accented seats and bigger wheels.

I have a 2013, 2015, and 2018 RX350. The car is popular and is top seller at local dealer. But, my view is Lexus is not up to the level of other luxury cars I have owned. Their technology is just not on the level for a car in the luxury bracket. Much of the wizbang offered on mine Lexus's is NOT reliable. The impact warning system was / is so bad on all models, I never trust it. The adaptive cruise control is junk. Try running up behind a slow moving 18 wheeler and you will find it a very scary experience. Its a great looking car. I love its styling in that market--its far better looking than Audi, Mercedes, or Infinity. But, I am done with the RX350. I plan to buy a Tesla when the lease runs out on this car.

I have the RX350 2020 Executive package I have a few big concerns I just reach 7, 000 KM 1 it’s anyone experienced some flat sound on the Mark Levinson sound system ? I try already reported this issue first at the dealership and they contacted Lexus here in Canada and literally told to fuck off They won’t do anything even told they not recommended me to repair outside them 😡 2 the apple play something I connected the original wire to my phone and does not work Sometimes I have to turn off the car and start it until gets connected ???? 3 is about the electronic parking weird sound every time I parked in reverse My drive way has a little bit of a hill But not much at all ....
