It’s because they changed bat standards to the USA bat instead of the USSSA standard that little league considered “juiced.” The USA bat is almost like a wood bat.

At the end of each little league season, leagues around the world will send all-star teams through district, sectional, state/provincial, and regional tournaments. If you can win every tournament leading up to the World Series, you get to play in Williamsport.

you didn’t watch the llws this year ? they didn’t allow international teams because of the covid-19 pandemic , and only allowed teams from the united states. so 2 teams from each region made it to the llws
