Hey Zen, I’ve seen Reddit forums that 16 gb with virtual machines choke? I’m thinking of upgrading to 32gb but man, it’s $400 considering I’m buying from the education store. I’m caught in a loop and I need this mbp soon prolly end of May. I’ll use the vm’s for my Windows related work like Chrome, Adobe Acrobat PDF, Microsoft teams and Outlook, and when I’m not, I’ll use it with Adobe Premier apps: LR, AP, Ae and Photoshop. Any suggestion? Thanks I’d really appreciate it, I don’t want to make bad decisions. 🥹

Hi! It doesn't sound like you need 32GB RAM and can instead save the $400 towards other things. Also, your VM software doesn't seem RAM heavy, and macOS is great at optimising and managing RAM usage, so Adobe Creative Suite will run smoothly even with 16GB.
