Very good shots with the drone. I seen an interesting way on how to cover your bunker from an American KZbin channel they lined the outside of the walls with wrap and then when the stack is done you could pull the sides of the wrap over top of your maize/silage then it was properly sealed around the edges and had minimal wastage pretty interestinf

@TheOnceADayFarmer3 жыл бұрын
I usually plant 5ha
@eamonnoneill13403 жыл бұрын
@@TheOnceADayFarmer so that crop was 100 tonnes from five hectares which is 20 tonne per hectare here in lreland where I have maize it usually yields around 50 tonne per hectare any idea why there's such a massive difference?
@TheOnceADayFarmer3 жыл бұрын
I think it yielded about 23t/ha but I was talking dry matter sorry, would probably be pretty similar to yours as I assume your talking wet weight??
@eamonnoneill13403 жыл бұрын
@@TheOnceADayFarmer so 23tonnes dry matter per hectare at about 33%dry matter would give you 70 tonnes full cut weight which is very impressive compared to the 50tonnes full cut weight and 20tonnes dry matter per hectare here in Ireland
@eamonnoneill13403 жыл бұрын
Sorry that's more like 17tonnes dry matter per hectare at 33% of 50tonnes.
