2021 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE - Kays New Ride

Just picked up Kays new 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE with Park Assist Sensors. She loves it. Love the upgrades they made with the 2021 G4 SE!!!

Bought my daughter the hatch in the same color, SE trim. I think the hatch with it's special seat trim and rims it sports looks better than the sedan.

I agree with you the hatch is the way to go especially in SE trim. The hatch is cheaper and has much nicer seating material and look. I also like the 2 tone rims better and the hatch gets slightly better mpg and looks sportier. The blue is sharp in the the Mirage.

Thank you, she loves it. She loves all the updates to the styling, all the new added safety features like forward collision with auto brake, pedestrian detection with auto brake, lane departure warning and auto high beam assist. They really spiffed up the Mirage and Mirage G4 for 2021 and I am glad we both have one.

Love the channel as a fan of Mitsubishi, especially the Mirage (both G4 and Hatch)! Have a question about the parking sensors: what happens to the USB port? Also, do they alert as an audible tone or just visually? A video of how it works would be appreciated greatly! Also can you take a video of the Apple Carplay/Android auto feature too? Would love to see that in action. Keep up the great videos! Love your channel!

The USB port gets moved back into the glove box like it was for 2014-2017 model year Mirages. Also the parking sensors alert only audibly. When you get within 4 ft of an object they start beeping and continue to beep faster the closer you get and when you are 1 ft away it is a steady sounding tone. Now the front parking sensors are made for when pulling in or out of a parking spot or parallel parking to know how close you are while turning in tight quarters and they also work while backing up too. Also all parking sensors work while the car is in park too if you are walking around it you can hear them going off. A simple push of the button turns them on or off. When the front sensors sound the beeps emit from a speaker somewhere up front in the dashboard area and when the rear sensors emit their beeps it comes from the rear window shelf area. You can easily decipher the front from the rear ones or if both going off front and rear. I am on cat eye this week but when I work my normal shift next week I will do a video with Kays Mirage G4 and demo the park assist sensors. I will also do a carplay video too and plug her phone in and do a video with mine on it no problem. It works so nice in these new Mirages and I have noticed no glitches at all with this new 7 inch touchscreen in the 2021 models its great. Thanks for watching and liking my videos.

Wish there was a Mirage rally as they are awesome cars and would be awesometosee what peoplehave done to there Miarage's. I think people overlook them as cheap but in reality they're amazing! Nice new G4! This looks nicer than your old one. The side skirts make it look a lot better as well. Engine sounds more refined in this G4. One thing is when you have a mechanic lift it be careful not to put the lift equipment under the side skirt. It could crack. My G20 has the skirts and a mechanic almost did that. Did you pay pandemic pricing? Or did you get a good deal?

Well for my new 2021 Mirage SE and Kays new 2021 Mirage G4 SE we paid about $1,900.00 below sticker and got the $500.00 loyalty. The SE is few and far between when checking dealers. So we did not get near as much off as we have on our other past Mirages as this is her 3rd and my 3rd one. The shortages are unreal. Five Star Mitsubishi did not jack up prices which was good even though they normally have over 300 new Mitsubishi or more in stock most of the time and only had 70 sone when we got these. Now they had deals on the couple base trim Mirage ES 5 speeds which they always sell them cheap there and give great deals. They are on of the only dealers that always have full stock of SE top trims and they said its the Mirage they sell most of is the top trim SE and people come from far away to get them or have them shipped to them as the SE is hard to find. But with all these 2021s now come with in top trim over what the older top trims came with I was willing to pay sticker for it if I had too as I wanted it so bad lol. So overall I am happy with what we got especially looking at all the mark ups and so on that are crazy! Once dealer marked Mirages up by $5,995.00 on top of MSRP!

@@kmckenzie2461 This new G4 looks more like a sports sedan than regular compact. Also to note that they still give spare tires. Many cars have no spare anymore! That's horrible. They did a good job on the side skirt style as well with a nice twist.

@@CoolAce1 they do look sporty now I totally agree. They really made the front end and rear end more sharp and aggressive looking for such a small car. I love my Mirage and she loves her Mirage G4, great cars.

@@kmckenzie2461 $1,900 below sticker is not bad in this economy plus the loyalty rebate. I love car rebates. Mine came with a 1,500 rebate back 20 years ago. lol And you can believe I made the salesman apply it to the price. One thing I wish Mitsubishi did. On the wheels, the logo is the same color as the wheel. To make it stand out I might have offered an option for a bright red or black logo. Just a minor detail. Do you like your old G4 or new hatchback better?

@@CoolAce1 yes I am happy with the deal I got. Like I said I have gotten alot more off before but with this Mirage being a new model year, top trim SE harder to rind and so on. Yes I actually put red center caps on our Eclipse Cross they sell many colors and styles online lol its cool. I def like the hatchback better personally. Where my friend Kay prefers the G4.

I have a question, is that back- up censors on the rear number? If so how did She get them? Also I am glad to see you back in a Mirage. I bought a 2018 Mirage G4 SE myself. I love that car.

Hello! Yep her 2021 Mirage G4 SE had the factory front and rear parking sensor package installed from the factory ($500.00 option). I had the front and rear parking sensors installed on my 2015 Mirage when I owned it and it cost me $800.00 cause I had it dealer installed. They work pretty good but you have to get relatively close before they go off. Yes I am glad to be back in a Mirage and when I saw the 2021 with plaid seats had to go back to one and traded the Eclipse Cross due to the high trade values they were offering. They are a great dealer to deal with at Five Star Mitsubishi. I am so glad to hear you got a Mirage G4, I am really happy to hear that! Awesome! Thanks again!

I'm going to be trading my 2018 Chevy Cruze hatchback for a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 soon! It'll be an SE in Wine Red hopefully. Because of the chip shortage, the value of my Cruze went up so I'm going to take advantage of it. I drive for Uber and having a regular trunk would work better vs the hatchback anyways. Also, the back seat is a little bigger if I remember.

I had a 2017 Wine Red Mirage G4 SE. The Mirages are great little vehicles. They are packed with features, super reliable, have a long warranty and amazing MPGs so you can go wrong. Yes the back seat in the G4 is massive for a small car and much larger than the hatch in legroom. The wine red is beautiful when light hits its like a plum magenta and everyone commented on the color how it changed in different light. The SE is def the way to go you get sooooo much more stuff and it really upgraded the inside and outside of the vehicle.

@@kmckenzie2461 I've owned a hatch and a g4 a few years back and they've been the ES model. I think it's time to splurge on a fully loaded model! I've gotten so used to having heated seats and push button start, but not a fan of having to spend $50 to fill up. Not to mention maintenance costs on the Cruze that's out of warranty.

@@pdxfoxchannel Hey why not splurge! Also if ya get the SE you get the push start and heated seats so ya wont have to give them up. Yea these are much cheaper to fill. Even with gas prices up here in MD my Mirage takes $22.00 to fill it with the last bar on the gauge blinking empty. Before gas was up I never broke $19.00 to fill it.
