Back in the day, I always wanted these but could never find any, except for Super Shredder. They look a derpy under today’s standards, but I used to think they were totally realistic before I knew what figures would someday become.

Me and my dad ordered these figures yesterday and from what I heard is that these don’t hold up at all to the originals and that made be regret getting it but tbh I don’t care what other people say because I think they look a bit better than the originals

They are rubbery, may not be the exact same as the originals, but they are soft like with the real turtle feel tag line.

Really awesome set!! For the price at $7.50 per figure, it’s great! This was only $44.99 for the set. It also will go well with the other two box sets that are coming out this year. The module and sewer six figure box sets. If playmates were thinking, they’d release all their vintage figures. I’d buy them all. Although these might not be perfect, it doesn’t matter. The price point was great. 👍

Did they mix up Michelangelo and Raphaels colors? Raphael is supposed to be the more light green out of those two. At least it was so for the 1988 figures.

I know everyone in today's time will complain about these BUT if you grew up in the 90s when these were released, these were super popular and a must have when Secret of the Ooze came out. I still have my original ones and I remember only needing Michelangelo and I traded another Ninja Turtle figure with this kid in my class for him... That's how I completed this set when I was a first grader LMAO.

Back in the day I got to order Super Shredder, Tokka, Rahzar and Crome-dome out of the Sears catalog for my birthday. The first toys we'd ever ordered by mail. I remember the feeling of waiting. When I was fortunate enough to pre order Neca's Super Shredder and Tokka/Rahzar 2pck, I had that same feeling again.

The colors of these turtles are different from the ones released in 1992. these are the colors of the 2012 turtles. So basically, they took the old line of action figures and gave them the colors from the newer line of action figures.

I bought them for my 5 year old daughter. All the inexpensive figures are unbranded and poorly made. While these toys lack in areas the value for a “play toy” rather than a collectors toy is fantastic. They’re durable and can withstand the chewing of my infant as well lol

I don't remember the 90s movie figures looking anything like the new pieces of cr** from Playmates. The rubberized Turtles looked way better. The new figures look more like something based on the "Out of their Shells Concert"

I can see why you bought them, because you didn’t have them as a kid, but I skipped on these. If they were closer to the originals I would have bought them just to have doubles, but they don’t have the correct weapons and the turtles all use the same body unlike the originals. The originals were all unique from one another, these just use Leo’s body. Raph and Mikey’s colors look off, butDonnie and Leo at least look close. And don’t get me started on that Splinter haha. I agree with you. Super Shredder looks spot on. Nice review as usual!

Omg these arent even clooosssee lollll. But if its cheap it would.be fun and like you said the kids should enjoy. My nephews can gawk at my NECA figs and I'll hand them these lol. I swear the original movie turtles had wayyyy better coloring! Maybe get some loosies with no belts/bandanas/accessories and replace with the parts here and you're in business.
