@@zachbucksar4901 Yep. The check in's are spoilers. I watch them together one hole at a time and they still spoil it. That said, I get why they do it. If there's 10 other people that watch like I do it's a lot. Pretty impossible not to spoil stuff. I think having the gatekeeper check ins is actually good for gatekeeper. More likely people will actually go check them out. So many people are only subscribed to Jomez and have no idea these other companies are out there. He holds himself well? He's the second biggest baby on tour behind eagle (maybe tied with eagle). Watch him lose and then tell me he holds himself well. Temper tantrums galore. Anyone can behave well when things are going their way. The mark of an honorable competitor (or person) is how they handle themself when things aren't going their way, not when they are. I'd love to see him grow up. Hopefully he will. He's obviously an amazing player. Literally lacking no part of the physical game, but I don't want to see the top players throwing temper tantrums every time they don't win. They can do it. Just don't tell me they hold themself well. Yes he is young. That doesn't mean he'll grow out of it. Crazy thing is he and eagle have arguably the best (top 2) technical games in the sport.

Asking someone how they feel after being able to come from behind and get the win when the statistics show he usually hasn't been able to pull it off, I think is a relevant and appropriate question. I can understand your point though, it is kind of weird.. but its sports and it happens daily, in all sports.
@BinaryBard643 жыл бұрын
@@briandanning Asking, "how do you feel about that amazing come from behind victory" is a totally normal question. The weird part is starting off by saying "YOU (specifically) lose to this guy so often, and today you finally won", and theb also saving the truly relevant and exciting stat for last. That doesn't happen in any sport. Examples: Hey James Conrad, you have lost XYZ times to McBeth...how do you feel about that? (And save comments for holy shot until the end). Hey Tracy McGrady, the Spurs have whooped your butt over and over, how does it finally feel to win one? (Save scoring 15 pts single handed in less than a min to pull out the win questions til the end). Hey 49ers, you guys rarely make it past the playoffs, how do you feel finally beating the giants after ALL THESE YEARS? (Save questions about being 24 pts down w/ one quarter to go for the end). There's nothing wrong with saying it was a great comeback victory, or pointing out that you defeated a legend of the sport, but I think specifically pointing out just how often you lose to someone else is kind of a jerk move by the interviewer (although I'm sure that was not the intention).

@@drumm24 don’t mistake passion and determination for hotheadedness. He’s a fierce competitor who’s been on the verge of breaking out. Now that he has, he expects nothing but the best from himself I’m sure. Most high level athletes have an intensity that people mistake for hotheadedness.
@drumm243 жыл бұрын
@@DiscNutt123 when anger / frustration is impacting your gameplay, which Germ and Uli picked up on too, it's more than just intensity or determination. Angry outbreaks are childish behavior, and Adam behaves that way too frequently for me. I will give it to him that he got it under control and made a great comeback win here, but he's been fairly disrespectful to the golf courses - smacking trees/discs, kicking trees/rocks, spiking his disc in the basket (and it bouncing out), etc. I'm partially surprised his sponsors are okay with his behavior, but regardless, there are tons of athletes are passionate while also holding their composure.
@DiscNutt1233 жыл бұрын
@@drumm24 everyone expresses it differently. I guess I haven’t seen it from Adam enough to bother me. I’m also not a purist. I enjoy when people wear their emotions openly and don’t hide them. It shows they’re human. And it has never once bothered me that someone hits a tree. It ain’t hurting a thing. People hit trees with their discs all the time with a throw, which is probably more harmful to a course than someone punching one.
@drumm243 жыл бұрын
@@DiscNutt123 I understand what you mean, I guess I just expect better behavior from pros. Eagle is a good example, because he can show his emotions without aggressive outbursts, but he too sometimes loses his professionalism. Slapping trees to me is less about how much damage it does and more again about the player's behavior. The trees at my local wooded course have plenty of knots and gashes from flying discs and probably 0 from people slapping them with discs lol
