If that late caution doesn't come out, Truex probably wins the title. His car was amazing on the long run and Larson's car was fading back to 4th. If that brake rotor doesn't pop out and Truex wins, imagine the talk all offseason about the championship format. Larson was clearly the best car and team all year. They proved it once again on that late race caution. Going from 4th to 1st on pit road.

Yeah even as a Larson fan, I'll admit it right now he did partly luck into the title because both him and Elliott had absolutely nothing for the JGR drivers until that final pit stop which showed just how much Larson and his team have been on it with their second fastest stop all year long. However I'm glad Larson got lucky there because I cannot imagine the social media fallout right now if anyone else other than him won, probably more of a shitshow than Harvick not making the Final 4 last year.

I,m getting bored with the whole Nascar thing . its not so exciting anymore . A caution by a rookie could lose you the championship. Nascar should change the rules to omit drivers who have not finished a single race in the top 5 all season. they are just in the way .
