On November 4-5, 2021, NIH virtually hosted the second annual Synthetic Biology Consortium Meeting. This recording is from day two of the meeting. The first session included a presentation from representatives of Senti Biosciences about Designing Intelligent Cell and Gene Therapies. The following sessions included two showcases, the first focused on engineering mammalian cells as therapeutics and the second focused on engineered bacteria that can be harnessed for therapeutic interventions. The meeting concluded with a session from FDA staff about the FDA’s role in biological product review and development.
