To my understanding it doesn't mimic gears it sets bouth puleys at specific configurations "gears", as oppose to old cvt where belt was constantly sliping through puleys from top to bottom when accelerating. I ques that way belt (chain in this model)has less wear and tear. But even in new maxima it looks like belt wants to slip little bit under hard acceleration...In murano, wich has 40hp less I can't notice that thing. Strange🍩

Personally, I would say the Maxima feels a bit quicker. I am a huge fan of both, however, and you really can't go wrong!

You didn't speak too much buddy. What about ride comfort and seats and so I find it too low for me and hoped that you elaborate more on that

The seating position is low down compared to the competition, but that is adjustable. I always review the cars with the seat in the lowest setting to make it comparable, but these seats are both extremely comfortable as well as adjustable
