I agree with everything you have said apart from the top end .... That somehow making it marginally lighter improved high end while also increasing power with low end? Apart from that... Great kites, solid construction, stable, smooth turning and great bars.... Oh wave kites need to be bright colours!!! As you mentioned we venture deep sometimes on offshore reefs and if things go wrong.... Bright kite is good to have 😅

Definitely agree with bright colors. That's my biggest pet peeve with kites. They shouldn't be dark colors or blue.

The Carve looks great as a freeride Kite. The flying speed... So would the Carve lift you? And what about the hangtime? I know it is not the Orbit:)

What did you think of the turning speed of the kite? I've had the 2020 carve and now 2021 carve 6,8,11... Ridden the new kites about 12 times.

🤦🏻 We knew we missed something! Thanks for the edit. The drift on the Carve is good but not great. We tested it in powered and marginal conditions in the surf. Powered conditions it drifts really. In the marginal conditions we found that this kite didn’t drift that well when it was in the bottom of the wind window. Most people probably wouldn’t notice but we are hyper critical of all gear. We really did enjoy riding a kite size smaller with the 2021 Carve than other wave kites too.
