We sold a lot of pintos back in the 70s. They were everywhere. I never thought we would see the day that there is not many around anymore. Being from the Midwest in the rust plain is most likely the biggest reason. Had many in our salvage yard that layed around here for for 30 to 40 yrs. Some of them I picked up with loader and the bottom of the cars wanted to stay in the ground. Wasn’t nothing left of them. Oh the good old days when a little money went a long ways.

I bet that long drive there and back was really tough especially when you were in or around the car pretty much all day except for bedtime so im sure when you got home you took a little break from it for a couple days, next year you will be able to bring your wagon
