I was on the verge of buying this board but I was concerned about the weight. You said it was heavy a few times and seemed to labor a bit when handling the board so with that I’m still looking for a stable more portable electric skateboard out here😭 I wish Onsra made a smaller board. The challenger is lighter but almost the same size as the black carve 2😔 Thanks for the unboxing video!

Hey Jared, thanks for your comment! Yes the board is definitely heavier than the first version (longer deck and bigger battery), so to carry on and walk next to it, it's definitely some effort. The Challenger is lighter but definitely shorter than the Black Carve 2. It's almost the same size than the Black Carve 1, but for the BC2, the size is now 100cm. I'll show a comparison about the two Black Carve in my next video. Should be out tomorrow normally! Challenger isn't a mini board, they want to offer great stability at high speed even on a shorter board ;) Cheers

@@itsmatt3627 way more powerful than the boosted boards I've been on with a lot more turn radius and smoother ride. But its huge and will take some time getting use too I'm about to go for a ride on it myself

@@relaxation2380 yeah the longer deck feels definitely weird during the first ride, but you'll get use to it and at the end you will be very satisfied caus' more stable with the longer stance! Enjoy your ride ✌🏻

@@PI37U it was fedex giving wrong info, I haven't gotten it yet, I ordered on the 18th, I asked the support about any info on it, Matt replied through email saying that it'll take 10 or so days by a Chinese airplane to make oversea deliveries or so, then 10 to 15 days through FedEx, my mistake was not ordering through the warehouse in California lol, otherwise the shipping would be faster I believe, I ordered directly from RideOnsra instead of the closest Onsra warehouse.

@@celphalonred1999 Can't blame you, onsras website system is kind of complex. There is onsraUSA, onsraEU and rideonsra. Whatever rideonsra is for.. Anyways I preordered from onsraEU since Europe is my locale. Would be nice to know when they are going to stary shipping packages out. Maybe I will wait for another week before asking onsra if still no shpping notification.

@Celphalon RED OnsraCali still don't have the stock for the boards. Shipment is on its way, so you definitely made a great choice by ordering on rideonsra.com. You'll get it sooner. But yeah agree that when Onsra Cali has some stock, better to order from their website directly, faster shipping ;)

But I think I'll get use to it with more rides :)

Hey man, thank you for the video! I’m hitting myself over the head right now trying to decide whether I want to buy this board or not. It’s a toss up between this or the Backfire Ranger X3. The only concern I have is the size of the wheels and how smooth the ride would be. See, I have a Backfire Ranger X2 right now and I absolutely love it, but I just want more range and speed, but I’m just not quite sure if I want to give up the all terrain wheels. So my question to you is this: How smooth is the ride in your opinion and what is the top speed that you can hit safely? If you can tell me that it feels smooth and that you can hit a top speed of at least 25-28mph while feeling relatively stable, then I will buy this board right now.

My main concern is how well the wheels can handle bumps and cracks without getting thrown off. Cause where I live there are some pretty shitty roads. It’s not like terrible terrible, and most roads are paved alright, but there can be some iffy spots. I’m just really concerned about safety.

Hey Chase, thanks for your comment! Well those 115mm Rubbers handle pretty well all type of roads. I just went for a ride today with it on really damaged roads and pretty impressed on how you don’t feel anything ! It’s like surfing on the concrete! Speed mode 2, you can reach 42km/h, 26mph, speed mode 3 even more, but definitely stable at high speed. You’ll have to tighten the trucks at your wishes though, they came pretty loose. I think it’s only an habit to take with those double kingpin trucks !

Did you get any wobbles or feel insecure at all? The Ranger X2 has double king pin trucks so I’m pretty used to them. But I don’t know if the wheel size difference will make it feel different or add some instability,.

@@chasetuttle2780 I reached 26 mph in speed mode 2. 32mph on speed mode 3 but to be honest I didn't feel comfortable with this mode 3 as it was my first time on the board and didn't tighten properly the trucks. I'll need more rides and experience with it to be fully comfortable. But speed mode 2 at the highest speed felt very stable, no wobbles, nothing! No problem for the questions, I'm here to answer ;)
