Thanks mate for your message! Yeah 115mm + 105 CW is a great combo in my opinion. Sometimes you’ll really want comfort so you’ll go with the Rubber and otherwise you’ll go with the 105mm to have better range. Range test with the 105mm will be definitely a next video to do! Cheers

Nahh 756wh is calculated with the max tension of the cells (4.2V), you always have to calculate with the nominal tension (3,6V), which leads to 648Wh.

Have u had a chance to try the dual belts BC2 yet.... so u think the dd motors are more or less gonna react the same way they do for the Challenger as far as speed and torque
@itsmatt3627
@itsmatt3627 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Erik, thanks for your comment. Yes indeed, I already tried the BC2 belt when I was in Switzerland. You'll have more torque and acceleration with the Belt Drive version. For the Direct Drive of the BC, you'll have more acceleration and speed than with the Challenger simply because you have a bigger battery (12s3p for the BC2 and 12s2p for the Challenger)

@itsmatt3627
@itsmatt3627 3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, thanks for your feedback! Both ABEC pulley, 40T and 45T, will work with the 105mm Cloudwheels. With the 40T you'll have better top speed and with 45T better torque. So at the end it depends on how you'll use the board and how you prefer your rides, more top speed 🚀or more torque ⚙️💨Cheers

I appreciate your insight and reviews! I just got into esk8ing after building my own.. came across your review of this that really got me looking into onsra What would you say is the biggest difference between the stock wheels vs. the cloud wheels?
@itsmatt3627
@itsmatt3627 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback! The main difference between the 115mm Rubbers and the Cloudwheels is the range. You'll loose 10km of range by using the 115mm Rubbers, but they also are more comfortable and perfect for carving, you really feel nothing on the road. The cloudwheels are good for comfort too though, my favorite ones because of the range that you can get on a single charge! Next week a new video about the wheels will come out on the channel, stay tuned ;)
@papahumza
@papahumza 3 жыл бұрын
@@itsmatt3627 that's awesome. Thanks for the tip. 10km is pretty significant. If you can review the rubber on gentle off roading, that would be great! Comparing them to the at offered, or are they not necessary as the 115 rubber are pretty good all rounders

@@papahumza AT are for another type of ride. If you go offroad, go for the AT, the 115mm are good but I won't recommend it for intense off road sessions. They will handle pretty well rough roads, grass, etc.. but for real off road track, you better should go for the pneumatic 6" AT!
@papahumza
@papahumza 3 жыл бұрын
@@itsmatt3627 totally makes sense. I mainly am on pavement. But I see so many others riding AT on-road.. but, with your feedback and what I'm hearing from others, the 115mm should be decent for my purposes.

I'm looking to buy my first board. I have no experience. I'll probably not let myself go much faster than 22 MPH. I mainly want a comfortable ride with tires that are less likely to lose traction. Are the stock wheels on this better or as good as cloud wheels? Is this board too much for a beginner with no experience?
@itsmatt3627
@itsmatt3627 2 жыл бұрын
Hey there, thanks for your message! The board is totally fine for beginners as well. There are 3 speed modes and you can definitely use the 1st speed mode at the beginning. The 115mm Rubber wheels, I found them even better than the CW because they stick to the ground, you don't slip and they're much more comfortable. The only bad point is that they reduce the range of the board. But you can still ride 35/40km easy with them, which is already a long ride! If you want inflate tires, you would need to check the belt drive version. On the video it's the Direct Drive, mainly used for street rides. If you wanna ride offroad, go for the belt ;)

Will this board cope with long and heavy heavy rains? It's time for manufacturers to think about full water protection, not everywhere in the world there is frequent sun and good weather. And your feet don't hurt after long trips? As for tiles, parks and rough roads, is there really any development compared to other manufacturers in terms of vibration damping?
@itsmatt3627
@itsmatt3627 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Willy, thanks for your comment. Well it's IP65, means it handles low pressure water and dust, for heavy heavy rains, I'm not sure. But what's the point to ride in a heavy rain? Unpleasant and kind of dangerous. I mean personally that wouldn't be a pleasure to ride in a heavy rain. I can understand riding in the rain if you have bad weather in your area, but as soon as it's heavy rain better to take a car or transport. The Rubbers wheels + the 4mm grip tape reduce very well the vibrations, so even after a 2h ride your feet don't hurt. Boards are well tested against vibrations, and I rode on very rough roads, the board handles pretty well. Cheers ✌🏻

What is in your opinion the best between DD and belt for the BC2 ?
@itsmatt3627
@itsmatt3627 3 жыл бұрын
Belt drive, you'll have more acceleration as you can adjust the gear ratio by changing the pulleys. Definitely more versatile as you can put any wheels from 80mm to 6"/7" AT wheels. DD is more stealthy, completely quiet. As long as you ride in the city center and not in a hilly area I'll recommend the DD. If you want to do some off road sessions and need some torque, go for the belt drive!

@itsmatt3627
@itsmatt3627 2 жыл бұрын

If you had to make 1 more sale to top off your retirement fund and stop working for the rest of your life, what sales pitch would you give me to sell me on an ONSRA BC2 while I'm on my way to buy an Evolve? Hey Invy, thanks for your feedback on the video. I'll check better the sound for next videos! Really appreciate it! As for the boards, well there is a reason why Evolve is dropping their price $200, you probably saw it in Dkwan comparison videos, Evolve struggled a lot with the new boards that are on the market. Basically the GTR is almost 3 years old, and you can find better quality and performances for a better price. If I was at your place, I won't go for Evolve GTR, I'm not telling you to go for ONSRA, just not going for Evolve. This board is already old and again, better performances on other cheaper boards!
