27:10 the fact that you guys are making sure to have ventilation for the electronics really shows the attention to detail. Everyone else has glass covers. They don’t care much about functionality let alone giving that space it’s own cooling vent. This is definitely a company that I will keep in mind while shopping for my first RV. Well done to your whole crew. I totally forgot to mention the good job in the microwave vent as well. All of these things tell me that you are definitely listening to customers and taking what they say to heart. And making changes like these will insure that you will always have new customers and return customers.

My dad was a long time West Coast long hauler, his preferred tractor's were always Peterbuilts. Around 1967-70, he got to finally order from the company a brand new to his specs, a wonderful rig. He ended up flying back east to the plant twice. Even put him up for a week, got to know the head cheese. He came away from the whole experience so impressed that he was an on-road promoter of their products. From what I saw in this video, you appear to also create a quality product. Beautiful. ❤️ I'm going to post this on Facebook, and tag his wife. He came off the road when he was in his 70's, by then he had moved down to So-Cal, from SW Washington. He drove local for a beer distributor in the San Bernardino Valley, for a few more. He's really gonna love this!! Heck, I love this!! Sigh, if I could only come up with 3/4 of a million. You all have made an amazing ride, bravo!! Thought I should mention, he's 95, not in a home, can still drive to see his buddies at the donut shop. 😁

One negative for me is the refrigerator can't fully open its left door ... ummm its a half a million dollar unit, lets place the refrigerator so it can be fully used.
@MrBalloonHanz4 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure he said the fridge and everything else would be fully usable with the slide-outs out. Having one door fully open and one only open partially, with slide-outs in, is actually pretty good for a motorhome. Just saying.

Tyler Stokes The fridge is not in a slide! There is no slide on that wall! Need a right hand refrigerator door for it to open all the way, but then it would get blocked by the dinette when the slide is closed because of the longer door!

Nice video. You said you were going to talk about the lithium batteries when you got inside but you didn't. I am really curious why you thought you HAD to start using li Ion batts especially after your little speech on using the gen. a lot. Why so many batts, what is amp hr. capacity, what is inverter size and what can you run on the motorhome with it. You never said it but it became apparent that the MH is all electric which would make solar panels ridiculous so why use them. Truck alternator or House Generator should keep the batts charged nicely. A big omission was pass through storage behind the rear axel - big mistake. Last question: why did you choose an Allison rather than a Paccar AMT (like a TX12) since the Allison costs about 3X as much?

9 lithium!! That's great to see. When people are spending half a million on one of these it makes no sense to cheap out on the batteries. Let people power the AC all day off battery if they need to. Great to see!

Just understand that there are newer battery technologies that out do the lithium-ion. You can put the same number of batteries and but yet even more longevity out of the newer technology. Your overall point is well taken none the less.

Better question is why put in all those nice house batteries and no solar? That would have been a better investment than that Cummins generator. If you REALLY wanted additional power then you can just connect a monster alternator to that monster engine. It is MADE to idle.

Love this RV. Would like a larger shower (for my wide load).

Gorgeous rig. I'm all about the weights so is there any way to find out the unloaded vehicle weight, the allowed gross vehicle weight (as well as the gross vehicle weight rating), the gross combination weight rating (for towing) and what is the hitch rated for for towing? Again, GORGEOUS rig (and I'm not too worried that weight will be an issue). Would have enjoyed seeing the roof as I would likely immediately have solar installed for boondocking.

GVW maxes out @ 40K on 2 axles
@WakeUpAmerican000s4 жыл бұрын
Video said that the gross combination weight was 70K lbs. with the 565HP engine and air brakes. GVW is 40k, so theoretically you could tow up to 30K. I personally wouldn't tow more than 10-12k on the single axle.

Now THAT's a killer RV platform. I drive that same X15, and it is an absolute beast. I'm curious as to why you spec'd the Allison 4k instead of an AMT? It seems like you'd get much better fuel economy in this rig with an AMT vs. the Allison.

Looks like a fine piece of machinery. The slides always scare me, though. Really loved the pistol comment.
