Not to burst anyone's bubble this guy is a salesman he tells a good story but doesn't tell you the price until you call him, he wants to talk to you so he can talk you into buying one that's his job. Ladies and gentlemen these trucks are based priced at or about $ 170,000 simple easy math 20% down after tax and title and all other hidden cost that they don't tell you about until after the contract is signed just your down payment alone $ 35 to $ 40 k. that leaves roughly $140 to $ 150k left to pay off with interest, depending on how many months your buying it for your looking at $ 3k plus per month just the payment then add insurance, fuel, maintinace depending on how many miles that you run get ready for $ 12 to $ 15k per month b4 you get a paycheck if you get one then pay uncle sam, just saying good luck your in the hole!!! If your married and have kids say goodby to any hometime or homelife because your wife and kids will be homeless and starving because of the cost of your truck. Think very hard b4 and do the math b4 you buy. I understand it doesn' hurt to dream of something so nice but in all reality just not worth the money. Buy a nice house for that kind of money and have it for life and be able to enjoy it.

It is a violation of company policy to price new trucks on the internet. I would gladly do so if I wouldn’t lose my job. Yes, my job is to sell them. But, I love trucks and it’s a lot of fun to talk about them and be around these beauties. I appreciate your comments.. Thank you!
@francisswayer49544 жыл бұрын
@@RockyMountainPeterbilts I understand it's your job to sell these trucks and everyone needs a job, all i was explaining to those starry eyed drivers who want one of those nice trucks is how much money it really takes to have one. I was in the trucking business for 25 years and had some nice trucks but with the way the industry is going today the owner operator is getting screwed more than ever b4 and there is no end in sight. Just saying good luck on doing your job but just be honest to a potential new owner when they call.

Why the combination of hucks and the preferred bolts in the frame ??
@RockyMountainPeterbilts4 жыл бұрын
I prefer hucks. The bolts have to be tightened every 100,000 miles. (or should be). If you have a custom painted frame color then we usually do bolts so we can "un-bolt" items without cutting a huck off. But if you are just going black frame I would highly recommend hucks. They are just as strong as the bolts but they stay tight.

Rocky Mountain Peterbilt's This may be a silly question, but can someone lease with you and drive for a major like Prime, Swift, etc.? Or does a driver have to lease-op through that company? I’m asking because of the no credit checks, etc. Like with Prime, a lease-operator puts down $15k to $8k and signs up for a 3-4 year lease depending what’s being pulled. Sometimes they allow dropping of the lease at anytime, as long as it’s returned in original condition.
@mr.winkie4 жыл бұрын
Rocky Mountain Peterbilt's Guess if I leased from a dealership like you, I’d technically be an owner-operator, and contract with anyone for freight? Do you have lease options like that I mentioned, or does one have to put down a third/50k?
