146 assault seems awesome. But for being a crossover sled I feel like one thing that could make it a lot better is an adjustable ski stance instead of a fixed 42.5” stance.

I am a former Polaris owner but now am riding a Ski Doo Renegade Enduro with a 900 Turbo. It has been one of the best running engines and comfortable riding sleds I have ever owned. My question is about going back to a 2 stroke and its durabilty and reliability in the long run. I am looking at all brands and will be pruchasing another sled this spring for my wife and family who ride with me. I do like many of the new things that Polaris has brought to the table this year.

Barry Olson the skidoo 600 etec motors are the most reliable two strokes ever created! You can’t go wrong with a skidoo two stroke, except 2013 800r sleds which had issues.

Are they moving away from the rush style suspension? Only traditional tunnels on the Matryx sleds which I find odd as they really tried to push the Rush style for the Pro Ride and Axys sleds.

Yes they are getting rid of it. The Pro-CC on the Indy has been proven over the last couple years to ride just as well but give you back tunnel space, it's better in powder and is simpler. No see no reason why they would continue with two trail suspensions

Well I always been a Ski-Doo guy and I am shopping for a new sled and it was looking like the 850 XRS 137 but DAMN that VR1 137 is some sharp. I had my buddies 17 switchback out last week and liked it. I’m just not used to the ride height but it feels good. AWESOME Lineup.

P Czech I cannot give you an accurate answer as I haven’t been on it yet. What I was told about the Matryx is they are more stable. With that said it should be less effort to ride and less ski lift in the turns.

The chassis and looks are very interesting. The New Polaris sleds ride great! But, when is Polaris going electric? Less stuff to go wrong and way more torque when they do figure out the perfect formula.... I still ride older sleds, honestly I trust them more....

Electric may take a while to catch on. Yes you can make some good power, a couple hurdles will be 1. battery life in the cold 2. how to charge in rural / mountain areas That is interesting, Why do you trust the older sleds more?

@@Levi_LaVallee I agree with you on the catching on part. They do have some things to figure out yet. Honestly, the older sleds are more affordable and have less tech/things to go wrong. I still ride the 90's/00's because that's really all I can afford, and they run really well. I've known multiple people who have had issues with newer sleds, regardless of the brand. Yamaha's engines are pretty indestructible though... Always wanted to make it to the TRI-5 event, sounds pretty cool!

I'm so old school, low budget, but I still enjoy all of the LaVallee posts - my fav crazy video is still the street ride and jumps and flips through the streets of St. Paul.
