Thanks for showing us your "Rebel" side by not taking off your shoes, Andre you rube! I can understand these units being desirable for big-time race drivers needing to have a home 24/7 at a track for a week or two. But I bet those folks fly to-and from the events, going home or to PR events and staying in hotels, not continuously riding the roads between gigs. Non-racing folks that have the bucks to afford one of these, instead travel by air and stay in hotels wherever they go. Much more efficient and comfortable. I had a friend of mine haul a luxury trailer around the country w/ an F-350 diesel and said the trip was rewarding, except for the reality of camping each night with the Great Unwashed. Most fellow campers were great, but there seemed to always be a few bad apples. Then there's the traffic, road construction, weather, etc. that can always challenge the fun. He saw a few of these behemoths at campsites and on the road, and when speaking with the owners, they had more money then God and just thought a cross-country trip was on the bucket list. He also said he has seen many more showing up on the used vehicle market than he ever saw in use. Then there's the size... You would practically need an Air Traffic Controller to assist you through a McDonalds. Sounds like an over-rated fantasy to me.

Nice coach. But the drive axle combo max weight allowed is 34-36,0000 lbs (depending on the spread) and 12000-14800 on the steer (depending on the axle and tire rating). That brings the total to 46-48k max. If the weight is more than that your looking at overeight tickets and getting parked.

Out of my pay grade. If you have the $$$ why not? Great looking bus. It's over 2 million. The shell alone is over 750K. Most of these converters are very secretive about price and some require non disclosure statements. They have to make a profit and it is a really really really small market. Millennium and Liberty are the two biggies. Emerald is another one not as well known but been in business for a while and they do a fine job on the conversion. Iowa Wrecker service make a better RV that is a WHOLE lot easier to tow if it breaks down and if it developes an issue while on the road while still driveable, you can take it to ANY truck stop or semi repair center and get it fixed while eating lunch inside. With a Prevost or any other RV of that style, the mechanic has to access the interior of your RV. You should check them out and do a review of them.

@overlord55804 жыл бұрын
I have seen videos from other manufacturers ie: Marathon, Liberty, Featherlite and they say that the solar panels are not capable of producing enough power to charge the lithium ion batteries to justify their installation so, I'm quite sure that these solar panels are being used for another purpose!
@JonnyRicter4 жыл бұрын
Solar is shit and looks ugly. They probably put that dinky one on their for some stupid environmental regulation.
@redwolfexr4 жыл бұрын
@@overlord5580 The solar almost certainly is used to power "critical" items if the bus is parked for an extended time. Probably a few vents, water recirc, and basic lighting. So if its in long term storage it doesn't need to be connected to shore power. It keeps the generator from auto starting as much.
