Those are cool. Sound decent for being so old. Most people do not know what a PD supercharger sounds like so they think something is wrong with it.

I have a 2019 F150 Lariat 5.0 Coyote V8 FX4 4X4 and Ican tell you towing wise, it'll blow the doors off the ecoboost. I've used my truck to yank semi's from sand and mud holes.

Pick up truck guy just wondering does your pick up truck get same gas mileage when hauling? I think any vehicles efficiency would diminish-

Always always always change your oil more frequently. Can't hurt it doing that. You can cause damage if you wait too long.

This 1500 crew cab with a diesel engine & a lot of other options ends up with only 1,048 lbs. payload, one of the lowest I've seen, yet it's rated to tow 8,000 lbs. Subtracting the min. tongue weight of 800 lbs. & 170 lbs for 24 gal. of diesel leaves only 78 lbs. for the driver! Like most half-ton pickups, the gvwr is too low to take 3+ people, their gear and even a small trailer on a road trip.
@EB-ss3or14 сағат бұрын
9:40 "We're using identical trailers..." 9:52 'the 1500's trailer weighs about 4,000 lbs.; the 2500HD's trailer weighs 4,500 lbs. & has an A-C on the roof' They should have added at least 2,000-2,500 lbs. to equalize the two and make this a more realistic test, and then take both up the Ike Gauntlet.

CAFE act. The American government is stupid. Many people would love it if trucks like the original Rangers and Dakotas were available new. Unfortunately, they don't meet the weight to mpg regulations of the CAFE act.

I really wanted to like this 3 L diesel until I found out they have a rubber timing belt submerged in the oil. That kills it for me completely. It’s a ticking time bomb that will shred and kill this engine before 200,000 miles…likely well before.

It has to do with fuel economy. It's a usefull work truck that can handle almost the same size load as most trucks and use half or less fuel as a American truck.

For that kind of money I can just buy an F-150 or Trail Boss base. I would rather get a Nissan Frontier Pro X and save myself big bucks.

I know all to well the problems with the new diesels. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Ford, Dodge or Chevy. The DPF problems are not something I care todeal with any anymore. I now have an old school 12v and have a smile on my face driving my old truck around. It has 2 wires a positive and a negative and not one sensor that will shut the truck down. I still work on the new diesel trucks and will take your money all day long 😂

There are too many BYD fires posted all over KZbin. We’re really not missing much. no thanks✋ do I trust their service on making a reliable product and then backing up their quality? as much confidence as I have with other products that come from China that is made so poorly. And talked about a knock off from ford’s headlights. 🙈

Has one of those trying out a midsize truck for the ranch. They were really good off-road considering open diffs, but it was always overheating when we worked it any. One of the most unique trucks I have owned. Was a great commuter vehicle.

What keeps them off the road is basically 'big truck and big truck lobby'. They used something called the chicken laws back in the 60s. I'm a truck guy and I know that if they can sell me my ram for 70k, they don't want me to EVER see a truck that can l to do mostly the same stuff for $900

Love a great long hard testing on them 3.0 and cost of upkeep and parts and are them motors easier to get as well as the Cummins and dura max big boy and love to see it with same big truck mirrors and hopefully Dodge ram will do same and use a 3.0 Cummins in a smaller new Dakota and a 5.0 Cummins from that old Nissan Titan HD in a 1500 Dodge ram with same tranny from 2017-/18 years and then share that platform with Nissan Titan HD and do same platforms sharing with GMC and tundra HD and Honda

This seems like some of the most important content I've seen on this channel. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the showcase and testing videos even now after I already purchased a truck. To see what decision the guy who drives and tests every new vehicle makes says A LOT about the current state of the market offerings. Extra happy because I went for the NA V8 option as well but a Titan instead of a Tundra
