To calculate mileage, you gotta do at least a few hundred km. My Thunderbird350 from 2009 gave me 40 km/l over mountain, highway, and city in Pune.

1 advice i ll give is to add front gaurd to the bike ... I am 5.6ft .... I felt the bike is terrible weight balance .... From a stationary position when we tilt the bike ... It would actually move back ... This made very difficult for me in turnings ... Tilting slightly would make the bike imbalanced .... Pulling the bike from parking spot was also very difficult while sitting on the bike , my leg would slip constantly .. But surprisingly once i installed the gaurd ... The added weight fixed everything ... I guess now both tyres have enough grip ... Now i am riding with much more confidence in corners ... I am not sure only i had this issue ... I am guessing all short people will face this problem .... And installing gaurd should fix everything...

I own a Meteor, Purchased it on 16th December , Yes i too feel the front brake should have more bite and the rear brake need much amount of pressure to make it work. i got a mileage of around 29.9 km/l in kolkata all city ride after first service.

After riding classic for 8 years I owned supernova recently and it is amazing machine with comfortable ride position. But kick start is little missing the charm of royal Enfield , fuel efficiency is 30 to 35

One of the reasons I bought the meteor was the expected 2.4 l/100km, having around 1000km so far, pretty sad to say I can get only as low as 3.1 l/100km with no push to the motorcycle.

Jawa gives much better mileage in real world conditions. Switched from bullet to jawa. Liquid cooling really makes a huge difference. Jawa has its own downsides, but mileage and cooling surely aren't two of those. Thunderbird had long history of chain sprocket issues, I hope RE has taken care of those. In my one and half years of jawa exp, I would any day still choose jawa over any RE

They flash because that's how their brightness is altered. Rather than use a large resistor to vary the current through the LEDs, they are flashed on and off faster than your eye can detect. When they are on more than they are off, they are bright. When they are off more than they are on, they are dimmer.
