Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to explain that the supported GPU architecture and the unsupported GPU architecture should both have the same name. It is then easy to understand that cross-referencing the architecture name of the unsupported card to the matching architecture name of a supported card in the Windows registry is necessary for the correct DWORD hex value of the supported display adapter to be copied into the newly defined key in order for the current display adapter to work with RealView. You make it a lot easier to understand versus trying to explain it after learning it from you. Well done, sir. Well done indeed.

Hi I made it work dozen of times, before but now I got an issue with my 2 gtx 980Ti , I don't know why. I will try another driver, but it has worked on the same setup last time it's weird (W10 SW20 GTX980TI x 2 )

hello , i have a nvidia geforce rtx 3070 laptop gpu/pci/sse2 google says its ampere, so i used google and i type quadro ampere and now im stuck. can you help me with the next step. sorry to ask i direct task but idk what else to do, i tried all the other tutorials of adding the card through regedit and over righting a quadro name . the fx1500 is the name i renamed but that did not help. please get back to me .

Thank you for making the architecture link, being the key to make this method work. Not only real view working properly but enhanced graphics can now be activated in performance options. On a 5 year old Dell laptop with a full spec 2080 card and SW2022 it worked fine. It had an Oct 2022 nvidia gaming driver installed, didn't have enhanced graphics on and ran performance monitor, producing 102.8 secs overall. Then swapped to Jan 2023 studio driver and turned enhanced graphics on. Now perf is 82.6 secs overall and this was all from graphics going from 47.8 to 26.5, how much was eg and how much driver, who knows - but it is a useful boost. Rendering and simulation were steady at 11.5 and 29.8 respectively, but realview dropped 3.1 secs to 23.6 secs. I am left wondering if gaming laptops are not THE premier solution, assuming this hack works on modern machines? But just posting to say it works, now not affected by drivers as others have experienced, so pay careful attention to the details if it seems not to work.

Hello everybody, I had a problem since I installed the latest version of my "NVIDIA Quadro K620" driver. I've been using Solidworks 2018, no problems with the realview graphics features... But as soon as I installed the driver, the feature has no effect, even when is active. Does any one knows how I can fix this? Thank you very much for your attention.

tried without success on my gtx 1080ti, unfortunatly. :) Edit: solution for me was an earlier nvidia driver + follow the instuctions in the video. Thanks!

Downgrade your driver from current version to 466.47 (perform a clean install) Then do regedit. Your realview will come back! I'm using GT710,and It worked! It has been issued that latest Geforce Game ready drivers aren't giving realview in solidworks Right now (upcoming version won't give you realview anymore) So only way is downgrading the driver By 4-5 steps down.
