The filter is in a horrible spot to get off with my handle filter wrench. Also, I need to get a longer funnel because a standard one will not work. Not a fun oil change, but I got it done.

July 23, 2022 - Just got mine done. Yes - ALL road vehicles I've ever changed oil on were much easier than this. LOL

My 23 570 trail does not take six mil Allen socket, takes a T 40, how is this possible? How do they not publish the proper size tools?

There are two drain plugs on the underside of the 570. Hopefully everyone knows which is the right drain plug. I wasn’t sure and luckily guessed correctly. 😮

I hate to break to you cause I love polaris that's all I ever own and ran i owned 3 Polaris atv so far I currently own a 2020 polaris sportsman 570 I got it like 2 mouths ago and I love it I absolutely love it but as soon as I pay it off I want something bigger but I don't want a 850 just yet so I might make a switch to can am for there 650 in 4 years but can you answer me why doesn't polaris make a 650 I rode can am before and I like them but I like polaris better the thing is the price tag on your 850s so why don't you guys make a 650?
@scheideggerUSVI3 жыл бұрын
Why would you want something in between those two? You can only really tell the difference at the top and speed between the 850 and 570 anyway

Oil filter is in an impossible position even with the proper tools. Just take it to the dealer. - the guy in the video has a dislocated shoulder.

My suggestion for those reading this is to get an oil filter cap that fits onto a ratchet.. With that it's pretty easy to get off and on.
@brianshrock53985 ай бұрын
There’s no way you found it that difficult. I just reached in there and unthreaded it, took less than a minute.

Lmao...... you didn’t show you pretty much have to take the right front tire off to get to the oil filter... very disappointed with the design. Battery sitting on the bottom of the frame where all the mud is.🙄 The oil filter in the middle of that frame behind the battery sitting so far back. The engineering sucks.

Battery on the '21 model is under the front stowage rack tho. Not much room in there for other things tho.

Check with quad logic for battery relocation kit then go enjoy not submerging your battery when you ride is 10" of water mud or butter...

July 2022: I put a hose clamp on the old filter and hammered on a rod to loosen it - you're not kidding - dumb placement for sure.
