Bagging KLR riders isn't necessary, the 650 has been a good improvable bike, bar the Doohickey, Kawasaki dragging their heels hasn't helped for a developed replacement range, they should already have, a 450,700/800 twin and a 1000/1100.

I've had mine here in BC for around a month and the hype is real. This thing is way better than I expected it to be. It does have some down sides for me. The rear brake is not great. The windscreen doesn't work well for my height and the seat is a little hard. All easily fixed or adjusted to suit each rider. The stock tires are not well suited for most off-road rides but work well enough for my needs and on road they stick really well and the bike rails through corners. It's wicked. It wheelies easily and has good fuel range, plus it looks cool. Find one to ride for a few hours and you'll see how good it is.

I like how the front indicators are on constant, on the USA/Canada spec model, a great safety feature, that should be on our Australian/New Zealand spec bikes.

Paul Caskey they have different seats. You aren’t supposed to flat foot dirt bike I will never understand why people are so obsessed with flat footing ADV bikes. Put right foot on peg/rear brake while coming to stop, put left foot down while right foot stays up. End.

Yeah cool bike for sur but...at 12k for a 700cc adventure bike I’d rather buy a new DR650 at 6k and keep the rest for the actual adventure

You can't be serious. I've owned the 650, Dr350, 4 DRZ400's. KTM 400-450-520EXC's. And as of late, 690 Endruro. To say the Dr650 is a savings? Here's your 650: It's like riding a VCR. Carbureted, heavy, worst lighting ever, undersprung. Portly. It's great if you want to ride some ally to the store for a loaf of bread. Welcome to 1995. There are so many other bikes out there today that just show Suzuki is milking people who settle for less.

What benefit does cross spoke do? Couldnt you just buy an excel outter rim and lace it up? For me I wish it had tubeless
