Wow big improvement compared to before! The old one did 60-110km/h in almost 10 seconds. As an owner of the old 2.8 Fortuner, it's a slug when overtaking in the highway. The new one is much better at 7 seconds 60-110km/h. Thanks for the vid, PDrive!

Bit random but I find manufacturers that flash the brake lights (and then turn on the hazard lights) upon hard braking, FAR more effective than those that flash just the hazard lights. Funny how Lexus flashes the brake lights, but Toyota only the hazard lights.

from what i’ve seen is that cheaper cars flash hazard lights whereas more expensive cars flash brake lights. maybe something to do with cost cutting.

@@brandonczw Kia and Hyundai flash brake lights so I am not sure about that. Flashing hazard lights quickly does not get the attention when emergency braking like flashing the brake lights does. Toyota Mitsubishi both flash hazard lights only.

Good and tough vehicle from Toyota. Seems to be decently equipped even in this base model (Reverse camera, alloys, climate vents for all the passengers), however the third row reclining system looks unpractical.

@@SSToor Yep, we only test on this private road at these speeds. 0-130 seems reasonable given that some overseas roads have a maximum of 130km/h (Italy, Greece, non-autobahn German highways etc).

We ran tests in all modes - we do a lot more testing in the background with the Vbox. The video is just a demo. The figures shown are the best result that we saw overall.

Not having a bald spot, comb over, polo shirt, sensible brown shoes and lost the will to live I don't qualify for this boat of mediocrity. 60 kW/t is pathetic. Just another two tonne jacked up speed hump. The family tax benefit breeders will love it. Some people may like the 'jelly on springs' suspension and some people may be strange enough to want a Diesel in 2021.
