FYI the rav4 and venza both have full speed range adaptive cruise control standard

Good catch, I'm not sure how I missed that!

Test drove the Venza limited today and the rav4 XLE premium and it’s quite the difference. The rav4 engine is very loud so the hybrid difference on the Venza was much better. The Venza is very smooth and has more room than the rav4. The rav4 doesn’t even have height adjustment. This is very vital for me because I’m 6”1’ tall. My head was right at the ceiling in the rav4 and the Venza I was able to adjust the height and it’s so much more comfortable. So many better features than the rav4.

At 23.02 you said the car emits a hum so deaf people could hear the car... I’m pretty sure deaf people would still be unable to hear the hum. Blind people, on the other hand, would be able to hear it approach when in EV Mode.

Nice work with this comparison, man!!! I was honestly just thinking about this competitive set the other day... Mainly because both the RAV4 Hybrid and the Venza have a pricing overlap. 🧐 I'm sure some people may have a tough choice deciding. So, GREAT job laying out everything in a comprehensive manner! 💯 Totally digging the addition of your "Driving Impression" segment! Also, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Can't wait for your next comparison. KEEP IT UP!! 👍🏼

What sold me on tne venza over the rav4 was that it was 100% MIJ. Otherwise the two were pretty similar in features and price, but from what I've seen, made in Japan is better.

The rav4 xle hybrid that I’m taking delivery of sometime in august was made in Japan as well. I lucked out as the majority of dealerships in Southern California show a lot of Canadian and American assembled versions

that infotainment screen really looks out of place and like it was just glued in at the last moment. Doesn't go well with the otherwise really pretty looking interior of Venza

I typically don't love pop-up infotainment screens either, but this one doesn't bother me as much I guess! To each their own!

The Venza limited also has a rear view tv camera that makes visibility much better than the rav4. Also the heads up display in the Venza keeps your eyes on the road. The 360 camera also allows unparalleled visibility when parking and security. All this plus more makes the Venza a much better value than the RAV4 hybrid.

You may, for the future, want to consider a high speed stability test at roughly 80 mph, where most of the traffic on a 70 mph hwy tends to drive. I just rented a brand new Rav4 last week. It had only 1500 miles on the odometer. Florida weather was a bit gusty with winds at 8 mph gusting to 13. Everything was fine up to about 75 mph: above that the vehicle was very difficult to keep in my lane. So much so that my wife remarked that it looked like a handful and she felt a little queasy, as if the vehicle was doing a constant dutch roll about the roll axis. This vehicle already sits very high on its suspension and I think Toyota got the aerodynamics all wrong: aerodynamic lift was pulling it even higher off the ground. Twice I felt like the vehicle was being sucked into the accompanying lane when passing semis and I had to firmly put in about 15 degrees of steering correction just to avoid the trucks! Not fun at all!

Interesting observation! I’ll keep higher speed stability tests in the cards for future videos!

Great video, styling was a big reason I decided to pick the Venza limited over the rav 4 although it’s has a smaller cargo area being a family of 4. It’s still adds way more space than my 2015 Scion tC.

Could You, please, Do A Comparison Test; 2021 Hyundai Sonata SEL Hybrid & 2021 Hyundai Sonata SEL (Gas) & 2021 Hyundai Sonata N-Line (Gas).🤔🙂

I have a comparison coming out (hopefully this weekend) of the 2021 Sonata SL Plus vs other midsize sedans (2021 Camry, K5, Altima, and Accord), but I will look more into the Sonata line in the future!
