After having a cb500x for the last few years, this is the first bike I've seen that feels like it could replace it. I wonder if Triumph know that it will be quite a step up in power for some people and put the hefty brakes on accordingly?
@woodywood3388 Жыл бұрын
I own an 850 Sport and rented a CB500X this summer. The drop off in power was shocking. My son was on an 850GS and I had no chance to keep up with him, especially not on the twisties coming out of the bend. On the Tiger 850, especially if you get the quickshifter, you can keep up with pretty much any bike of comparable displacement. The Tiger is a terrific bike, and my only regret is that you can‘t get a higher saddle like on the 900 Rally.

@Kista793 жыл бұрын
The oem seat already has two built in options for a taller or shorter rider that's adjustable with no tools just by removing the seat and then moving the bars from one notch to the other, but to answer your question yes Triumph does make optional seats for this model, a low seat option and a comfort seat. Triumph claims the low seat is approximately 20mm shorter which is .707482 inches and the picture for the low seat does show that it also has two notches for adjustability. The standard seat you are looking at 31.88" & 32.67" but with the low seat height if it is 20mm then it should be 31.17" & 31.96". I'm kinda surprised by the low seat tall mode vs the standard seat short mode as it's only .080 difference between them. For the low seat it does look like they've removed a lot of the cushion in the seat to make it lower so I can only imagine that it wouldn't be nearly as comfortable as the stock seat.
