James, your comments are spot on! Have purchased $3k plus worth of bits from Ural New England in MA and had wonderful service but when they could not come up with the parts, Heindl engineering nailed it. It is cheaper for me to buy parts and pay freight from America than go to Australian dealers! Often it’s quicker too! “The Man” just makes servicing seem so “matter of fact” easy! You go to dealers for help and not hindrance. The biggest piss-off is when it goes wrong you can’t ride the miles to get assistance. Back of the truck with the dog job! Buy “The Man” a bourbon next visit for me, his enthusiasm for Urals makes it a delight to watch and learn.

first service on my 2015 CT produced a click clack while i added grease to the uni joint. Spin it around and was not real smooth. Scratched a few things - mainly the back of the head and removed the rear drive unit and all was revealed. Dealer is 600km away and didn’t know. Wish you were closer (i'm in Australia) but thanks to youtube you are actually having a cup of tea in-house believe and not available from Australian dealer network and cheaper than manufacturing and powder coating myself!
