Besides the exterior of the car its lacking considering it is meant to be the top spec mode of the Tiguan, I ended up ordering the elegance but I wish it had the body kit of the r line but besides that, the elegance imo is the best way to go

This little SUV does look pretty. The engine would feel underpowered to me. I've got 400 bhp on tap in My Volvo T8. I was thinking of purchasing this crossover but the petrol versions only 1.5 and I don't particularly want to purchase a 2.0 diesel. Are there any other petrol variants on the way? The 1.5 only gives 150bhp which would seem underpowered to me. Excellent review by the way 👍.

Yes it is a very nice suv but you dont get Fog lights Why not .Also you get integrated turn lights to ,which should be standard on all Tiguans and do away with those stupid 3 inch by 2 inch turn signals which cant be seen .What were you thinking VW a £45.000 car .To convert to integrated turn lights would set you back plus labour would be around £1100 crazy money

Why? You can get over 200 or 300 HP (depending on the class) for basically any model. Exceptions are up!, Touran and Caddy (maybe I forgot something). Soon there will be a Tiguan R with ~320 HP.

All show no go. Test drove a 2020 1.5 and that engine is terribly underpowered for a car this size. Straight up dangerous for highway mergers. Literally zero response. The 2.0 180hp should be the bare minimum. Still slow but atleast it can merge somewhat confidently.

150hp is absolutely laughable and it’ll be over £30k easily. The Golf has 150hp and it’s half the size. Really doesn’t make any sense. I’d just simply get the 230hp previous model. Car manufacturers are making very odd decisions these days, something in the water in Germany especially
