They can't because they dont have a backup line up of runners, Great Oak on the other hand has a ton of runners they have rely on. Comparing freshman teams alone Great Oak has the better frosh team.

@@strikeo well just have to wait. We don’t know if kids will transfer or not. Plus they have a few god kids. We can’t say 100% they won’t be better

@@strikeo I would say that you are correct however, (and this is from my very limited knowledge) Newbury Park should be fine next year as leo lex and aaron are all only in grade 11 and still have another year

It wasn't the 2nd mile was 70 meters too long and the last mile was short. The course was still 3 miles

thats a fast time but these kids really a different breed , 13:38 in high school , they woulda of got first in the d1 championships 5000m if they were there

@@bojiden614 What makes you so sure they’ll be forgotten? Besides the Youngs and Sahlmans, they’ve also produced multiple low to sub 9 runners, like Aschbrenner at 8:44… their girls team has gone from no name to nationally competitive and their top girl boasts a 4:43 mile and ran 15:54 at Woodbridge. They might not have the large talent pool that Great Oak has, but they’ll still be significant even when the stud families go.

@@bojiden614 definitely take your point Bo, but the way they’re making strides with the girls team makes me think they’ll keep churning our talent. The Youngs and Sahlman’s are super rare of course, but I won’t be surprised if they have a few sub 14:30 Woodbridge guys for years to come. You and I can check in 10 years here k? Hahha
