Great orientation by Kyle at Dick's Boat Shop for us as first time boaters. We learn how to take care of the boat, drive it, and many of the great perks of the 2021 AR195 by Yamaha. The dealers were all selling out of 19' yamaha jetboats so we had to hurry and nab ours in January! The boat seats 8 adults. We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children ages 11 and under. We're hoping the boat will be a great fit for us for many years!

Your dealer is much better than mine because this guy gave a very thorough walkthrough. My dealer didn’t know enough about the boat to do this and the sales guy was convinced the top speed was only 15 mph. Great video 👍

Something to keep in mind is that in many boat launches, power loading (using the motor to load onto the trailer as Kyle suggested) is a big no-no. If the pavement doesn't extend very far into the water, it can erode the bed around the launch and cause issues for everyone down the road. Be sure to keep an eye out for signs at your local launches that may prohibit it :)

That makes total sense that the waves and pressure would disturb the dirt where the paved loading ramp ends. This is a super light boat so it makes sense to just use the winch

ALWAYS keep the cord attached to you even on a nice day, you never know if another boat hits you, you run aground ect... happy boating

This is great starter boat. I have 2020 AR195, so easy to trailer and manuever. It's on Denver Craigslist now, looking for a bigger boat for next season. I highly recommend!!

Very nice. We got lucky that they had one sitting on the lot. All of the dealers around me in multiple states pretty much all had deposits on their 19 footers already. Did you order yours last fall?

@@MrSooners12345 Yeah, ours was ordered by someone else that changed their mind once it showed up. I snatched it up before someone else did. They said that mutliple people had called for it right after we put down our deposit. It's good that we did as we all got COVID right after paying the deposit!

Very good information in this video ...only thing I dont agree with is power the boat back into the trailer ...the seller said you should power your boat on but honestly powering your boat on is good for the terrain underneath the boat ramp and that what the winch is made for ...to lift your boat into the nose .....everyone does it their own way but I have never been a fan of powering the boat on to the trailer

The pricing and colors are out. They seem to have raised pricing quite a bit. The price of my boat went up over 4 grand!

He is doing great. He's starting to do more of his own testing and such and is starting to be able to tell by how he feels if he's starting to go low. The scariest part is at night while he's asleep but we keep both phones turned up.

I’ve had an ar190 for almost 3 years.. change the oil before every season not every three years or when it’s running rough.. that’s ridiculous. Join the Yamaha FB page tons of good info.. get radial tires, stoltz bow roller so it doesn’t scratch gel coat, and thrust vectors for low speed steering.

He didn't say every three years for oil. He said sparkplugs every three. If you are in salt water you would need to change them more often but Utah is fresh water boating. I've been around a lot of Yamahas I didn't need to change plugs that often. Now oil should definitely be changed every year.

Mike Yamaha 195FSH Sport owners manual says fuel compartment has a drain plug is this the same as the rear hull plug ? 2 on the rear of haul I found 1 under the center console Am I missing 1 ?

What’s the difference between a AR190 and AR195???

AR 195 has the single supercharged engine and a few other features.

There are also some other minor differences like pop-out cleats, nicer speakers, etc. The supercharged engine is indeed the biggest difference. I wanted to get the AR190 but we are at 5000 ft. above sea level and need the extra power for the jet engine.

@@MikeMurphyinc I guess that depends upon your rig and set up. The fastest I pull my boat is 65. That tops. Its just where I feel safe. I have been through Utah and know they like to drive fast there. To me 80mph is not safe when towing. But thats just me.
