Did a review of my first bike, a 2021 Yamaha MT-03. Also, shared the things that I like and a few dislikes about my bike. Thanks for watching!

That’s great to hear! Yeah, I feel the MT-03 is the perfect beginner bike. It has the raw power, bulk and impressive handling that will prepare you for your next higher cc big bike. I also almost moved to a 650cc and was considering the CB650R and Trident 660, but with the Z900 at almost the same price range, it was an easy decision for me. @@NoobieRides try using R3 bro iba ang set of power ng R3 di ko lang alam pero parang mas linear yung power niya kisa sa MT na nagpepeak sa mid rpm parang mas jerky lang siguro yung MT pero pagkakaiba sila humatak although pareho sila ng chart sa dyno may big difference siya. Ridesafe bro

Great bike. Was planning to buy last year. Ok na si misis. Medyo na off lng ako sa fuel consumption. Guess it’s because of the power to weight ratio. And parang mas maganda porma ng mt15. Maybe dahil sa rear ng mt03 masyadong mataas

Naupuan ko din before yang MT-15 and mas mababa pa din seat height ng MT-03. Pero pareho naman pogi yan hehe and starter bike lang talaga, for sure upgrade ka din sa higher cc in a few months. 🙂

Ano po naging deciding factor ninyo to choose MT03 over Duke200. Same dilemma po ako ngayon on my first beginner bike, and im on that point na medyo nanghihinayang ako to shell out that extra 100k plus sa MT (285k na price as of this post) pero shempre twin cylinder and mukang easier to maintain since Yamaha. Though KTM naman mas mura price and gas consumption as well. Any insights would be appreciated thanks po 🙂

For me kasi sir mas macho ng konti tignan si MT-03 so mukhang big bike na. Also, yung higher cc din kasi gusto ko matuto sa mas malakas na bike. Pero honestly medyo nanghinayang ako kasi dapat Z400 na kinuha ko para expressway legal na agad. Good choice naman pareho yang MT and Duke sir, yun lang feeling ko maa-outgrow mo din agad yan tulad ko hehe, maghahanap ka din eventually ng higher cc. Congrats in advance and ride safe. 😊

​@@NoobieRidesty sir for your review.. nice bike tlga mt03 for a beginner. For me ok na din xsr155 muna as a beginner bike(practice sa manual) then jump sa mas higher cc. Mt09 or z900 or cb650r (inline4). Mangarap lng muna sa ngayon😅🙏

Since nakita ko na din tong vid na to, ask ko lang sir, hindi ka ba nagkaron ng kahit slightest regret na hindj xsr yung napili mo? Planning on getting my first ever bike na din kasi and ever since eh talagang laway na laway ako sa xsr, pero biglang parang gusto ko ng mt-03 bigla dahil medyo loaded ng specs na wala din sa xsr. Pinaka nag pa hook sakin dito is yung 2 cylinder at dual channel abs tapos bonus yung additional power na 42hp max. Kaya now sobrang torn ako kung bnew xsr ba or second hand mt-03 (w/c is around 180k din) salamat sir sana mapansin mo din to hehe RS palagi 👍🏻👍🏻

Hindi naman sir kasi feeling ko mabibitin ako lalo agad sa XSR kahit na beginner pa lang ako when I got my MT-03. Para saken perfect na first bike yung MT-03 kasi medyo powerful na at 320cc and malakas din torque. After a couple of months, na-outgrow ko din agad and nag upgrade nako sa Z900 since gusto ko yung pwede na sa expressway. Di kasi ako mahilig sa classic look eh, pero kung ganun trip mo perfect sayo yung XSR. If gusto mo naman ng sporty na naked bike, pasok na pasok yung MT-03. Hope this helps! 🙂

Siguro when the time comes mas mapapag desisyunan ko ng mas maigi HAHAHAHA iba kasi talaga yung angat ni mt-03 sa xsr pagdating sa specs pero looks eh mas prefer ko talaga classic ang dating, tho 2nd option ko is naked street bikes kaya napag isipan ko din yung mt-15 noon 😅

In terms of expressway legality, sa tingin ko po 'di na po kasalanan ng bike yun kung ba't 'di sya pwede sa expressway. Yung mga nagset ng limit na po yung may problema dyan, kase binase lang nila yung limit purely on displacement. Kung tutuusin, mas capable pa po 'tong MT03 sa expressway kumpara sa ibang "400cc" na bike (ehem, 390 duke/RC). Ok sana yung limit na 400cc sa mga single cylinder, pero dapat babaan nila sa mga multi-cylinder bikes. Yung ZX25rr nga mas malakas (in terms of HP) at mas mabigat kesa sa ibang 400cc eh.

Agree sir! Tayo lang yata sa Pinas ang may 400 cc rule for expressways. Pwede pwede sana sa expressway ang MT-03 in terms of power and size. 👍
